My friends and I (party of 4) came for bottomless brunch (Fruity Tingle jugs and Popcorn Chicken) and sat on the rooftop. The cocktail jugs were so watered down we all felt like we were drinking lemonade. Throughout the afternoon, we watched staff make the jugs and it appeared barely 3 shots were in each jug, it most certainly didn't taste like there was any more than that. When it comes to the "brunch" aspect - we were initially given 2 very small bowls of popcorn chicken and despite our repeated requests, interesting in itself since it was "bottomless" ; had to wait another hour for one more micro bowl to be produced. Upon delivery of the worlds smallest popcorn chicken bowl, we asked for sauce which like our previous requests for food, was also ignored. The service was poor and underwhelming with staff ignoring us throughout the brunch. Whilst I understand the difficulties with staffing during these challenging times, staff who were in attendance often ignored requests and walked past tables rather than providing any service. My friend wrote a review and the reply was we should have mentioned something at the time and it would have been fixed. Apparently us vocalising to staff that we were hungry during the brunch and asking for more food isn't classified as communicating at the time. We had sat there for 1.5 hours asking for more and were continuously ignored. Given how cold it was, it took over an hour to turn on the heaters, but staff forgot to remove the plastic surrounding it. Instead, the smoke billowing was a clear indicator that there was an issue (and a safety concern for us diners). Overall, would not recommend. Given the cost was just over $49, incredibly disappointing especially as we were made to feel like an...

We went to Humbar last night for a colleague's farewell drinks. It was completely off the mark. We were in the laneway between Humbar and Wollongong Central. It stunk to high heaven and because of the fall of the roadway, you sit on a constant slope. There were those rented marquis in place and they were cold and draughty. We ordered two margaritas ($18 each). They glasses were half full and they were poorly made with not a lot of flavour, and barely chilled.. So we ordered some $1 dumplings. They arrived but were almost cold. We then ordered a Charcuterie board which was basically a couple of bits of salami and mortadella with 3 slithers of toasted baguette ($20) and a cheese board where the name of the game was find the cheese (another $20). We ordered a drink for the guest of honour - my partner went to the bar to remind the staff TWICE that we were still waiting, then I went to the bar to show the me&u receipt, and asked two passing waitstaff as well (that's a total of five reminders for one drink). Literally an hour and a half later the drink arrived. I did a quick head count of the laneway and there were possibly 60 guests tops,, as well as a smattering of people spread of the other two levels. I also counted about a half dozen waitstaff, but only one bar tender. Clearly the problem does not lie in the ratio of waitstaff to patrons but not enough bar staff to keep up with the cocktail demands. Extremely disappointed to the point that we were the fist to leave. Not sure if I will ever return after dropping $140 (with tips) for quite a...

Pathetic food. Pathetic service. Pathetic responses to complaints. After 2 of my friends have now made reviews alerting the venue about the problems that we experienced during our bottomless brunch today 24th of July only to receive EXTREMELY passive aggressive responses from what appears to be the management replying to these reviews. When my friend complained that the bottomless jugs tasted like pure lemonade because they were so weak, the response from the venue was “sorry they weren’t alcoholic enough for you” implying that the problem was with her. Additionally, our review was responded to by saying if we had brought up the issues during the session they would have been handled, which completely overlooks the fact that we repeatedly asked staff for more food and were ignored and were given essentially one serving per person despite it being a “bottomless” brunch. I am completely expecting a passive aggressive response back from this review but people deserve to know what they are going to be met with if they voice their unflattering opinion. Meeting someone with such dismissive actions and dialogues is no way to handle a situation in which multiple people are clearly disappointed with how they were treated. The reality is that we paid nearly $200 between the 4 of us only to receive 3 pathetic bowls of popcorn chicken and some...

Humber? More like slumber. I could have had a great snooze during the wait for breakfast. Group of four sitting down to breakfast at a normal breakfast time. Ordered two and two at the bar (no table service) virtually one after the other. Two breakfasts delivered, followed by the other two thirty minutes later - our friends had already finished by this stage, and nobody likes sitting and watching people eat. The staff struggled with even the simplest order, with it taking 15 minutes to even get a sparkling and still water brought to the table - no self service water. No ability to build a breakfast without paying for mandatory toast - pointless if you are gluten free or celiac. Lack of table service kills this place. The food was good, but service left much to be desired. Find somewhere else.

We were on our way to jervis bay and was looking for a place that was open on Easter Sunday. Glad this place was open and the reviews were great so we tried. I must say that I was impressed by how cozy it was. The coffee selection were good. What i liked about it was that you could choose what you wanted to put in your plate. The service was great. The staff were nice and they were very welcoming. The price was just right although you can cook and prepare the same meals at home. I definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be back again to this place if I get the chance.

This was my first time and I loved it. At first I thought the food was abit expensive but then I got it and it was so worth the price. The way it was set out all of it was amazing. I thought the same with the drinks but I can say me and my partner loved every drink we got and they were pretty strong. The service we got was amazing, everyone who came to the table was lovely. Even the guy at the door had me laughing. The lay out of the place is honestly so beautiful and I can say I will 100% be coming back
