Cove Beach — Local services in New Providence

My husband and I had a horrible experience with this place, namely The Cove. We are owners at Harborside and decided to stay at The Cove for a change. We were incredibly excited to stay there, but boy oh boy, do we regret it! The walls of our Suite were paper thin: we literally heard our neighbors conversations all night along with anyone walking or talking in the hallway. I called the main desk several times asking if we could be moved but no one ever got back to me. And, when we were checking out I mentioned this and they didn't care. I was told that I should've called the front desk and I explained I had (several times) but they just moved on to completing our checkout. Also, the couple beside us at checkout had several small children and this resort is supposed to be adults only. We have kids, and love kids, however, there's behavior on the property that is most definitely adult only. That family checked in without anything said. My concern is for the kids who will see inappropriate behavior and for the neighboring rooms to this family because the walls are sooo thin. Plus, there's nearly 2 inches between the bottom of the room doors and the carpet. Why? I have no idea. Bottom line: We do not recommend The Cove. It's looks beautiful but that's it. Atlantis is wonderful but don't stay...

This is the best part of the resort. I brought my own snorkling gear and it was the best experience I had the whole time. I walked out waist deep and put my goggles on to see I was surrounded by about 100 yellow and black striped fish with one really large one swimming by within literally 1 foot of me. The cove is calm water that makes it easy for swimming and the deepest part out by the edge was probably 15 feet deep. The dark spots are just patches of green plants that look like large grass growing which was a surprise because I preferred the light aqua blue sections until I discovered the other areas. If you plan to go take your own goggles and snorkle because you can go for hours without any crazy resort costs. My back did get sun burn so stop and reapply sunscreen or you'll be a cooked...

U BETTER GO TO THE OTHER CARIBIAN PLACE. FOR THE MONEY WHAT WE PAY, YOU WILL GET MUCH MUCH MORE. We ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED ABOUT ATLANTIS. THERE WAS A SMALL THUNDER SHORM AND THEY CLOSED DOWN ALL THE WATER SLIDES. (By the way, there was not even the rain here) SERVICE IS BAD. DAY TIME THE WAITING TIME IS 1.5 - 2 hours is waiting time for WATER SLIDES, BECAUSE THEY ARE SELLING TICKETS TO THE SHIPS THAT COME FOR THE DAY. SO MY RECOMMENDATION GO TO DOMINICAN OR SOME OTHER PLACES SO TIUS MONEY. FOR ME THIS IS NO GO PLACE!!!!!!!!—————————————————————
