The Rapids River at Atlantis is one of the most exciting and unique lazy river experiences we’ve ever had! It’s more than just a float it’s a high-energy adventure with waves, currents, waterfalls, and surprise twists that kept our whole group laughing and hanging on for dear life (in the best way).
We went around multiple times and had a blast every time. It’s a perfect blend of thrill and relaxation, and the scenery throughout the ride is beautiful.
That said, a couple of the inflatables we used were a little deflated, which caused two people in our group to scrape their elbows and legs on the bottom. Nothing serious, but a little more air in the tubes could’ve made it a smoother ride.
Even with that small hiccup, we still absolutely loved it and would go again in a heartbeat. Just recommend checking your tube before jumping in!

The beginning of the “ride” starts with waves, in which some people got flipped out of their tube on it or got smashed against the concrete wall that the water is in. I had to keep getting up and pushing the tube with me so I wouldn’t get stuck. The rapids part was pretty fun, but it was also pretty dangerous, noting that I flipped off of the tube, hit the rocky ground, scraped my knees and feet, and hit my head on the bottom. Read moreSOOO much fun to do with friends or family, 1 or 2 person inter tubes, lifeguards every couple hundred yards, 3 pretty big white water rapid portions, never felt unsafe (probably best to be careful of head and feet - so you don’t hit them on the walls)
My only wish is that areas with high public traffic such as these waterways were cleaned better - we always felt like we badly needed a shower after touching that water. For that reason, I’m removing 1 star. For the price this hotel charges that water should...
