Well… don’t even know where to start from , because it was a such a bad disappointed experience from start to finish… The most expensive and disappointed dolphin experience.Staff was very strict. At first what surprised me, I didn’t know we going to be with other group of people, which it means the given time it shared… The trainer what we been given was rude, unfriendly without any patient ,you can see how he just wanted to be done quickly with us and get another group of people…My husband went first to be pushed by the dolphins, myself and our 6 years old daughter followed him, without expecting that suddenly from being very shallow we will get into the 10 ft deep water, since we haven’t even been warned by the trainer. I am not very good swimmer I was wearing a lifejacket ,so myself and our daughter got very scared, since the trainer didn’t warned us that suddenly from being shallow goes to I think 10 ft deep. So, the trainer started to yell, that we holding the line…When our 6 year daughter lie down on the water to be pushed by the dolphin, the dolphin wasn’t cooperating,so the trainer just said she has to move out of the way for the next person to go, and when the dolphin came back to him, he told the dolphin “ don’t worry it not your fault it’s the girl’s fault “… The next one ,we had to hold 2 dolphins by their dorsal fins and swim with them, so I was little bit uncomfortable since I am not a good swimmer, again, haven’t even been given a chance to do it,to feel more comfortable,he just started to yell for the next person on line to go…So, I didn’t go…Our 11 years old daughter while was swimming with the dolphins her goggles came off in the water, so the trainer told my husband to go and find them under the water, my husband said that he didn’t see where they went, after what the trainer said to our daughter “ you going to swim without goggles, then…”The whole group went with the another trainer towards the middle of the lagoon.I end up staying at the beach. When everything was over, our group was coming back towards the beach, so I asked our second trainer since i didn’t swim with them and missed other part of the program, can I at least touch the dolphin , her answer was “No, the dolphins has to rest now…” So, I was in the such a shock after paying all this money, to have experience like that.Even my kids and my husband who was able to experience everything, didn’t like it ,because the trainer had a such a bad attitude… And the whole experience last not more then 3 minutes, so if you don’t want be disappointed like we are, spend this money for...
Read more2 because the dolphins were sweet and there were a few babies swimming around that were abordable and I can’t forget about them but… -1 for the experience and customer service. My mom loves dolphins and wanted to interact with dolphins as if she hasn’t multiple times already as well as Ive swam with them multiple times and have been snorkeling already else where already. We were scheduled for 3:10 arrived around 2:55. Signed a wavier and went to orientation 1.. was pretty quick & simple got our lockers and suited up. We were told to put our glasses up, then the whole group walked and started the introduction i guess… idk by the time we caught up to the group we were being told to put our snorkeling goggles on and instructions to get in line to get in the water… to my knowledge nobody was asked about previous experience swimming nor snorkeling. We’re being instructed to get in the water with googles that we never had time to adjust on our faces or let alone assistance fixing them if needed. When me and another from the group needed help we were expected to take them off and had them to someone as we are in water we cant stand in and multiple dolphins standing around us… as I am trying to tell them my googles aren't on right. I was told it wasn’t the time to fix them and it was okay I wouldn’t need them anymore????? After 3-5 minutes in the water that was the snorkeling time so just know that. Once someone finally decides to help me and sees “humm something is wrong with her goggles” they got me another pair as someone came over and told us if this was your first time snorkeling this was not for lessons and to practice in the pools around the property 😂 basically talking about me not knowing…. I snorkel frequently and actually am a diver but besides the point. The experience outside was rushed lets say it was supposed to be 30 mins they damn near tried to make in 18mins. The photos people… same thing, rushing not letting me take my time to look through and select the photos I liked. Terrible experience, wont be back, wont recommend. Go off resort for this or I guess try earlier in the day and you might actually get treated like a person that paid for an...
Read moreToday my husband and i did the swim in wonder for our 12 year wedding anniversary. I first want to say that the dolphins were well trained, seemed very happy and the grounds itself are beautiful. However, for the price we were expecting a little bit more. We checked in at 11 for an 1130 booking. We were told to sit at the middle beach and someone would grab us for our excursion. Around 1120 the trainers walked behind shouting “1130 class follow this way”…. No “hello my name is…..” etccc. Or any introduction. We were led to the lockers and changing areas, given a wet suit and led out to the area we would be swimming. There was no education, learning about the animals, how they got there, the name of the dolphins we would be swimming with… just given a quick demo on how to ride the board and in the water we went. It honestly felt like an assembly line and we were kids having to wait out turn or herding sheep. The tour in total was 30 minutes not 1 hour.
We were in a group of 6 however only 5 boards at the first stop and my husband was told to walk over to the end and grab a board when someone finished.
I wish we got to see the dolphins do tricks that were included in the lesser excursion as far as jumping. We did however get to watch the other groups after ours was finished.
Lastly, after paying $275 each you check out your pictures and don’t even have the option to buy 1. Minimum number to purchase is 5 for $165 and each additional was $33. What would i do with 5 pictures? It would be really nice to have the option to purchase 1. You are not allowed to bring your cameras in the water.
It is fun, but was shorter than expected, no education, barely introductions, no option for a single picture purchase and overall I don’t feel you get what you pay for. And after spending $550 I wish I could have...
