Wild Wing — Restaurant in Aurora

I always pass by this low key bar after my gym sessions, finally decided to stop by. I put 4/5 on food because it is bar food. They’re fantastic when you’re hungry, and they sell themselves but there’s always room for improvement. They kind of taste very similar at other locations, question is what would make yours stand out than others? But places like this should be focus on service and atmosphere— which i totally give 5/5 on both!!

Eliza, who was my server when i visited was really pleasant and overall splendid! She had lots of bubbly and positive energy and was very enthusiastic about the menu. I think that is very important. She also seems like she gets along with the kitchen team!

I noticed one of the kitchen staff was leaving and Eliza had a motherly like personality making sure that they get home safe and honestly i dont hear that often at other bar places. She seems like she really likes working here. As a customer, who is observant and have worked on customer service experience and sales, Eliza has characteristics of someone who is an asset of the Wild Wing Team.

Eliza, was also a natural conversationalist— she has a great sense of humour, and have a level of empathy who can read not just the room but also the people in the room. She can curate a splendid level of service to anyone! She can communicate well and lots of positive and enthusiastic energy!! Kudos to her!

In terms of atmosphere— this all depends on the person. I personally love it when it’s quiet. And when it is not busy. I came here on a Friday evening and it was really chill. The music is in just how I want the volume it to be. And glad it was as loud. If you want a place to hang with a buddy or two on a low key kind of vibe, i guess when there are no important sports teams are playing, this might just the place for you.

Wild Wings exceeded our expectations during my friend's birthday celebration. The staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality by surprising us with a beautifully presented cake and thoughtfully arranged decorations though i had informed them about the birthday just an hour before. This thoughtful gesture created a warm and celebratory atmosphere, elevating our dining experience. The attention to detail showcased the staff's commitment to making our celebration special.

Beyond the delightful surprises, the food at Wild Wings was outstanding. The diverse menu offered a range of flavorful options, satisfying everyone's preferences. Well, we've just returned from another unsuccessful lunch at Wild Wing in Aurora..and it will definitely be our last. We arrived at approx. 12:05pm and had to ask the server at almost 12:30 to come and take our order. There was only a few guys that came in AFTER us, that sat at the bar, so the restaurant was NOT busy. 15 minutes AFTER we placed our order, she came to tell us our order had not gone in yet..and them came to ask us our orders AGAIN! We have now been there over 45min. and are still waiting. NO ONE came to apologize to us, but the Owner did go and apologize to the group (4 guys) at the bar?! We were not offered another drink, no apology for delay, nor did anyone come back after our food was finally delivered, to see how it was or if we needed anything else. I work in the customer service industry and as such, believe ALL customers should be treated the same. We have tried to give Wild Wing Aurora a few chances to redeem themselves with us, but this was the worst service we received, and will definitely not be entering the location again.
