Tried Hero Burger years back. Unsure if they changed their meat supplier or what, but I swear it was better years ago. Was kind of a bit like a lesser Lick's burger. It was decent, but the value proposition was a bit of a stretch, so I hadn't been back in years.

This experience however was a FULL ON DISASTER. I love me a burger, but I had to stop half way through this one and trash it. I felt so ripped off I wanted to fire it across the room and against the wall.

mediocre fries. If you are going to change $15 before tax for a burger combo both your fries and burger better justify that price. Fries looked somewhat promising but looks can be deceiving.

didn't order anything exotic to justify the price... the value isn't there. If the total offering was outstanding I'd gladly fork out $15+ for a burger combo, but based on quality of product I was delivered, the value proposition isn't there; not even close. Order details at bottom.

burger reminds me of those terrible frozen supermarket burgers that pull apart in little rubbery chunks when you bite into them.

check out the cook on the patty this picture. It looks like you could use it to clean the grill with. Actually, correction, it looks like it was used to clean the grill. And I am very confused... it tasted charbroiled but looks like it was cooked on a flat top. So are you telling me you cook it on a flat top then finish it over charcoal??? Something suspicious is going on here. I don't mind a nice firm crust on the outside of the patty but the inside cannot be a block of rubber with all the moisture sucked out of it.

Live and learn. Will maybe be back in 5 years to check and see if they've reworked the product quality, execution, and value proposition.

Build your own burger - 6 oz patty Sesame poppy seed bun - product provided incorrectly as it was black and white sesame bun; no poppy seeds Cheese Toppings/sauce Fries Fountain...

Been there so many times, never had issue before, until today! Called ahead to placed a order for take out. I ordered 3 combos with fries and one burger with lettuce bun. When I got there, i got told ‘ I didn’t order combos’ so I only got 4 burgers plus two fries( I have no idea how did my order got this messed up), also he said, I repeat the order back to you, it’s not my fault. Ok, fine! I paid, and got home, there are only 3 burgers with 2 fries. I called back, the cashier said I only charged you 3 burgers, you only ordered 3 burgers, it’s not my fault, I showed you the receipt. So I got upset, instead of blaming the customer for the mistakes, how about show some customer appreciation, and ask me if I want to come and pick up my 4th burger? Instead, you know what he did? He hanged up on me. I called back and wanting to know why can’t I order another burger, he said, if you want to talk to me nicely, I’ll talk to you, and then he hanged up on me again! I didn’t even rise my voice during the phone conversation let alone being ‘not nice’. And then I called back again, got hanged up again, called again, went straight to voicemail. This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had! EVER!! Oh, also, their receipt is printed on Hudson’s Bay receipt roll. I guess hero burgers can’t afford their own receipt, they have to ‘borrow’ from HBC... SAD.....

Absolutely Horrible – Avoid This Place at All Costs!

I can’t even begin to describe how disgusted I am by the appalling behavior we experienced at Heero Certified Burger. My friends and I were trying to enjoy our meal when we simply went to refill our drinks — a totally normal thing to do at ANY fast food place, right? Well, apparently not at Heero, because some rude, unprofessional man working there lost his mind.

Not only did he start yelling at us like we were criminals for refilling our drinks, but then he snatched a review sign right out of our hands and screamed at us to “GET OUT” — all while we hadn’t even finished our burgers. Are you kidding me? We’re customers who are just trying to eat, and this guy treated us like trash.

I’ve never experienced such hostility from an employee, and honestly, this place deserves to go out of business if this is how they treat people. No apology, no explanation — just a tantrum from some guy who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near food service.

If you value basic decency and respect, DO NOT go to Heero Certified Burger. There are plenty of places where you can get a burger without being screamed at like you’re the one causing a scene. I’ll never step foot in this establishment again. Stay far, far away from this...

The fries were excellent. The two $6,99 burghers freshly made and tasty. An hour later my wife commented that she felt very satisfied. Often fast food does not last. I see some recent negative comments below. I know there are two challenges in retail these days. ( Three if you include costs increases) It's hard to get staff and the ones that do work are then overworked so less tolerant then they might otherwise be especially if the place is busy. It was quiet when we were there and we talked with the franchise owner. I wish there was a franchise closer to where we live , for sure we would use it regularly. Value? It would be interesting to hear from others but my experience with Wendy's, MacDonalds, Harvey's and A&W is that the 1/4 pound Hero burgher , with all the standard add ons for $6.99 is slightly better value than the others. Having said that, the bill with taxes was $23.28 for two burgers, one small fries and one fountain drink. Interestingly it also has icecream and butter tarts but I don't recall seeing tea or coffee options.

They put way too much hot sauce (5x more than they usually do) to my uber order. It is Jalapeño chicken burger. I just took one bite and I am burning for 30 mins now. I have a very high spice tolerance, but even for me this is way too much. I order from this place the same item all the time but never had this much hot sauce on a burger. That is just CRAZY amount if I can describe it right. You cannot even see the chicken because of the all hot sauce they pour all over the burger. I took some pictures. After taking a bite I could not continue (even tho I changed the spiced bun to my regular bun from the fridge without the hot sauce on it) - and now I am peeling the skin of the chicken just to be able to eat it.
