I've eaten here a handful of times. Usually, we get two soups (Soondae or Pork) and a plate of Cheese Katsu. The quality of food is fairly consistent and satisfactory. However, the only complaint would be the amount of rice that comes with Cheese Katsu. It's literally about three spoonfuls. Even the rice they give you with the soup look like somebody ate off of the bowl.
Today, I had my very last meal from this place. The cashier - a middle-aged Korean lady - greeted me in English after having me wait a while due to her meal prep. She continued to speak English to me even after I greeted her in Korean so I proceeded to let her know I'm Korean. Then she had the audacity to ask me "You are? Why do you not look Korean then?!" So I was fairly pissed off at that point.
Upon cash payment, the POS screen indicated I was to receive about 50 cents as change. The lady then tells me I should just give up the change because she's out of small coins - also added that should be her tip. I then ask her what the hell she's talking about - not because I didn't understand what she said but because I was flabbergasted. She then hands me a loonie and tells me to get change for her. At that point, I snapped and told her this is so wrong on many levels. If she explained her situation I would've been very understanding but telling a customer to relinquish their change without even making an effort to produce it from other sources is downright lazy and unprofessional.
She ended up apologizing but the experience was just so disgusting start to finish that I made up my mind to stop...

OMG Still can’t believe this food court store is offering amazing delicious restaurant quality food. The Tonkatsu was super crispy comes with well seasoned dipping sauce. The Ramen was so yummy too. The noodles cooked perfectly, however, the egg is a bit too cooked and the yolk was not runny. The soup was so flavourful and quite salty, which is normal for ramen noodles. With this good quality of food, the price is reasonable. As you may notice, nowadays, one bowl of ramen at the restaurant is close to $20 and sometimes egg is extra. 😆 This combo is a deal as it included a bowl of shoyu ramen ($13.50), 4 pieces of Takoyaki and a pop for $17.99. 🔥🙌🏻 We visited on Saturday, so a little struggle to get a table and also not too clean as no staff there cleaning the table. Lucky that I got wet wipes with me, so be prepared if you want to pay...
Read moreDid take out for lunch on Thursday. One of the donkatsu dish was not cut, and requested eating utensils missing - a knife to cut the donkatsu, missing spoon for soup orders. Used to love this place's soondae soup but it was awful. The soondae was not cut properly and cold. Guessing the lazy chef in the kitchen just dumped the uncut frozen soondae into hot soup - crossing her fingers and hoping it to be warmed up. Nice try but didn't work the way you planned. Although you have bad reviews on CASMO, i didnt really care but no wonder why you're keep having customers with bad experiences. Hope you would come back to your norm. The cashier was very nice but I prefer good quality food. BTW, your bakery products from Kyu's bake Lab are not as good as before. What happen to your excellent...
