Extremely rude to customers. I took my father to the salon for a haircut (we’re both tourists) and I was told by a lady to sit in a chair to wait. After sitting for several mins, a guy working there came over and complained I blocked the door. So I immediately switched to another chair. The guy unexpectedly became very impatient and loudly complained that I should move the first chair back to its original position as well. I said I didn’t touch the chair - I was told to sit there so I just sat there and didn’t move it at all. The guy suddenly became very angry and yelled at me, “No way! How can the chair be positioned that way. Open you eyes! Absolutely no way! You’re lying!” I insisted I did’t move it, but the guy outrageously repeated, “No way! You’re lying!” The way he shouted at me made me feel that if I continue to explain, he would beat me. So I said, “my bad. I don’t want to debate with you. My bad”. Gladly he walked away after hearing that.
I’ve never seen any places in my life force customers to apologize for actions customers did’t commit. Even if customers made small mistakes, should they deserve such terrible and horrifying treatment? Is that how you treat tourists as you know they’re just one-time customers so you say...
Read moreI have been going there for almost 6 years and this is the first time I would call my experience unpleasant. I usually really like it there, but this time I had another hairdresser I have never had before, or even seen before, and though I sort of liked the haircut, when I got home I found scraggly bits. When he pulled open the drawer at his work station, it almost came out and could have fallen on me. Another hairdresser ran over to help him. I found it hard talking to him cause his English wasn't great. I also thought he wasn't going to clean the hair off me after the hair cut, but he did. When he gave me my change, they only accept cash, he almost grabbed some back and said tip. I found this experience unpleasant and not the usual experience I normally get there. I guess it pays to stick with your usual cutter, but they were all really busy, and I just assumed quality there I usually experience would be consistent. I know my hair doesn't take much longer to cut than a guy's hair, especially this time, but they usually charge more if...
Read moreI went to the shop today and the barber (the older man and not the boss) has the extremely bad attitude. I was at the shop first yet he want to cut somebody's hair first because he said the second person is on the leave for lunch break and if he doesn't cut his hair first, then he will lose that customer. He said it in Catonese which he is unaware that I FULLY understand Catonese. Also, when he was cutting my hair, he has extremely bad attitude when he was using the hair dryer. At the end, after I told him that I am aware of what he was saying in Cantonese with another of his co-worker, he denies everything he said. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place. There is other better hair stylist in China town if you are looking...
