My experience in dealing with Michael at David Daniel exceeded my every expectation. I was in the market for a setting for an engagement ring but was not sure about my girlfriend’s ring size or e-ring style preference.

Michael is a true professional with over 20 years of experience. They had a large selection of rings and he was very patient and spent a couple hours with me providing guidance to help me select a setting. He worked with me to have something ready for the proposal but allowed me the flexibility to bring it back and switch it out if it wasn’t to her liking. He was able to turn it around for me quickly during the busy holiday period.

It turned out that she loved the setting but it was 3 sizes too big. Most jewellers would have just sized it down, but Michael insisted on making a new bespoke ring specific for her so the detail would not get distorted and the proportions were right for her. He also tweaked the design to ensure the wedding band would sit as close as possible to the e-ring which was her preference.

The process of making a bespoke ring included CAD design, prototype approval, casting, finishing, setting, and appraisal. Michael was great through the whole process even when I threw some unexpected things at him mid way through. At the end of it my fiancé had a one of a kind bespoke ring made just for her that she loves!

The cost was very reasonable as well especially when you consider the customization, level of service and advice provided.

Spoke with the owner Michael about a custom pendant I had in mind. Michael blew my mind away with the results of the pendant. I couldn't believe he brought my idea to life and was 10xs better than what I was thinking. Michael took the time with me, told me what metal works with a sapphire and stayed in my budget. I didn't feel overwhelmed/pressured at all with the process.
