40% off medium and large pizzas Sunday to Wednesday online only. That's the message that came across my social media. So I checked it out. I had several issues with the website but that could be me getting used to the layout. At first I was trying to just check out what the cost of the pizzas would be with the discount. I found out later than sooner that only certain pizzas qualify for the discount. Initially when I tried to compare prices, I clicked on delivery and a pop up showed up asking me to check to see if my address qualified for delivery. Quite shocked when it showed up that they didn't deliver to my location which is 4km away. "Sorry! Unfortunately this Swan Pizza location you have selected does not deliver to this address". That was the message, so I switched it to take out. Now I'm looking for a large pizza with green pepper, mushroom and red onion. I put that in the order and it did not qualify for the discount. So I had to call the store to get some help figuring which pizza is discounted. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and patient with my questions. She pointed to a vegetarian option and said that I could get my choices this way and all I had to do was uncheck items that I didn't want on the pizza. Seemed simple enough. She explained that if it does not show the discount because the site seemed to be acting up that they would take care of the discount at the store. Great, willing to work with me, so after we hung up, I tried to do what she said. So in the takeout section of the site under the traditional tab and #14 is a veggie fans pizza and I could choose my items. Under the toppings tab there's a list of all the ingredients. Here is where I made the mistake. I thought I had to choose from the list of ingredients because under the list are tabs that you can add your toppings. So under the add veggie toppings I pick what I thought were my 3 ingredients. It added $2.95 for each ingredient which I thought was normal. Not realizing that I added extra to the order. So at this point I wanted to see what the total would cost me but before I could get that, the form wanted my details. So I filled in my name , now hoping to see my order total it placed it instead. Yup I had no way to see it before the order was placed. The UI of the website needs to be friendlier. So I actually decided to go ahead and just pick up my 3 pizzas with my 3 toppings. Upon arrival to the store I was greeted by a gentleman and explained what happened. So he just asked for my name and got me the pizzas. I decided to order some wings last minute and waited while they were being made. I started reading through the menu brochures they had and on the back there is a combo deal for 3 large pizzas with 3 toppings. Exactly what I ordered and for a lot less money. As the lady handed me my order, I questioned her about why my order was the same as this combo and she said because I ordered from a menu item. Anyway I didn't feel a whole Lotta love after everything and I just went home. Well because of my online difficulties with the ingredients turns out I had fully loaded pizzas with all the ingredients that I didn't want. I called the store and again the lady explained that I had to deselect the ingredients I didn't want. Finally figured it out as she walked me through it again. Not inherently obvious and just spent the best part of $70 on pizzas that I didn't want. I did not feel that whoever was running the store that evening was compassionate about what happened to me. I just sucked it up as an expensive lesson. That's why it's only 3 stars. Easy to make mistakes your first time especially if you want to customize your order. I will try this place again because I believe in supporting local businesses and I do believe quality food will come from this kitchen. Message to the owners of this location, you and your staff members need to show some compassion for your customers. Not even an apology for my confusion from a glitchy website. Still says it doesn't deliver to me. My wife enjoyed the...
Read moreWOW! 10/10. The pizza here is delicious and super affordable! I was drawn in by their 8", 3-Topping personal pizza for $6.95, and now I am hooked! Some of the best I have ever eaten!
This Red Swan location consistently serves great pizza! Their ingredients are high quality and flavorful. Crispy, golden brown crust that is never burnt or dry. Just the right amount of well-seasoned sauce. Great ratio of cheese-sauce-crust. Tons of toppings to choose from. The sesame seeds on the crust are a nice touch too! If you have any left-over slices, they reheat really well! It also tastes just as good right out of the fridge the next day!
The staff are super friendly and their service is super fast! Their location is also very clean and accessible, with indoor seating. Being close to the highway and the train station make this a great, quick stop if you're looking for a gourmet meal.
I strongly recommend you come here, as there is something for everyone using their Create-Your-Own menu. There are keto and vegan options for pizza, as well as a variety of sides like regular and boneless wings, garlic and cheesy bread, potato wedges and nachos, and...
Read moreHonestly this was the worst pizza I've had, the cheese fell right off each slice and was a goopy mess, I asked for no Sesame seeds on the crust as I'm not a fan of that on pizza, but there was still Sesame seeds on it, it tasted pretty crappy and pizza is a fairly easy food to make well.
I used the bathroom to wash my hands and there was practically no soap left in the dispenser, I went to dry my hands with the paper towel and that wasn't working (there was paper towel in it but it wouldn't come out no matter what) when we were eating my friend needed napkins and there was none left in the dispenser so he had to wait for the lady to go and get more.... and when we went to throw our garbage out at the end the garbage was full and overflowing...
Not to mention the atmosphere is very lackluster and seems baren, and I think there was only one lady working there at dinner time. Over all I was very dissatisfied and only ate there because I needed food, but I felt ripped off spending $20 on a bad pizza and zero basic hygiene amenities that a typical food establishment should have.
This place sort of seemed like a front for a...
