We moved to Ottawa. I ordered the full prime rib dinner for Christmas Eve supper and the full turkey dinner for Christmas Day supper. The meals were suppose to be heat up and serve. Boy was that misleading!!!
First the food was suppose to be delivered between 2 - 4 pm. They showed up at 9:30 am at the hotel we are staying at.
Second, The prime rib was raw. Literally raw. I emailed before hand that we wanted it medium well so it is only pink. Then when we heat it up it will finish cooking to be well done because we do not want any blood in our meats. I heated it up like the instructions said and when I cur into the meat is was oozing blood out. It was like the meat was seared lightly on the outside and left to walk off the plate. I ended up roasting the prime rib for two additional hours to cook it fully through. A 6:30 supper for four ended up being 9:00 supper for two. No one would eat the mashed sweet potatoes because of the bloody juice that it was sitting in from the raw meat. Also, the meal was suppose to feed four easily. After the bone is removed and the fat is all removed we barely had enough for two people. I come from a farm and know prime rib and meat. This was a waste of money all around.
Third, the full turkey dinner. How can I say this; don"t waste your money on it. Again, all they did was brown the skin but everything underneath was raw. The juice was running blood all the way through. It took almost 3 1\2 hours to cook it through. Again we had a really late supper. There was enough meat for 6 people but the stuffing they supplied was enough for two people. The gravy, mashed potatoes, and carrots were enough for the four of us.
It was advertised that these holiday meals were heat and serve. If I had known I was going to have to cook the meals it would have been way cheaper and easier to go buy the groceries and cook the meals from scratch myself. I am shocked none of us ended up with food poisoning from the very raw meat they delivered. We did have stomach issues from the prime rib dinner.
I want this honest and disappointing catering service to be a warning to everyone. .This was the first time ordering and spending Christmas in Ottawa and it was a disappointed meal.

Read moreOnce again disappointed. This establishment is crowded and chaotic, and the service is sub par, especially considering the high prices charged. I was waiting in line today to purchase a few little things. I noticed the people behind me were unable to view the goods in the display case as I was higher up in line than them. I moved out of the way so they would be able to view the food and make their selection. This put me at a funny angle to the cash, but as I was the next person in line for the cash and had indicated this to the cashier, I didn't think twice. However, when it came time to make my purchase, the girl at the cash ignored me when I said I was next, and when I called her attention back to me, she told me that I wasn't in line. I just put my purchases down and left. Clearly people aren't hired for the their brains here. I will not bother to go again.

Read moreI found this (picture attached) in one of the cheesecake pastries I ordered. They are like hard pieces of clay or plastic or something, health hazard much? I honest to god almost broke a tooth while eating the pastry. The customer service isn’t great either, seems like I’m a waste of their time when I’m there - there is one girl in particular who has a horrible attitude - it’s sometimes difficult to enunciate while wearing masks so I had ordered the blueberry cheesecake pastry and she had grabbed the wrong one by mistake, no big deal at all, and I said “oh sorry I wanted the blueberry not the mini cheesecakes” and she rolled her eyes at me and said “well I heard you say this” and it was said with a horrible attitude. My boyfriend and I moved in down the street about 2 months ago and really enjoy the butter tarts and a lot of their baked goods but honestly, I don’t feel like going back anymore even with how convenient and close...
