I have only ordered delivery - never eaten at the restaurant. But the first time I ordered pizzas for delivery it took over an hour. No problem, they didn't promise any sooner and it was Saturday night around 8:30pm, probably a busy time for them. I had lots of friends over and snacks to tide us over. When it finally arrived, they were pretty decent pizzas.
Second time I ordered pizza and salad for delivery, it was a Wednesday night around 7pm. The guy on the phone was pleased to hear how close I live (Yeah I know I know, I should have just gone and picked it up myself, hindsight is 20/20), and since it was a particularly slow night he said he'd be there pretty quick. Great, I thought, as I hung up the phone. Over an hour later, I called to find out what's going on. The person who had picked up the phone put me on hold for about 5 minutes, then finally returned to say the pizza would be there soon. I asked if I could cancel my order if the delivery person hadn't left yet. He said it would literally be there in one minute. I started to talk again and the guy hung right up on me. I was kind of stunned, and also annoyed at the use of the word "literally" but hey, I can handle a few more minutes for pizza. Over fifteen minutes later, STILL no pizza, so I called to cancel again and then started just making dinner at this point. Finally, OVER 1hr30min from the time I placed my order, the delivery guy finally arrives with the pizzas... what?!
Honestly, if I ever bother to order from here again, I would go pick it up in person. I'll never get them to deliver again. and honestly I don't care how busy you are, hanging up on a customer is poor service.
Uncle Fatih's pizzas aren't quite as good, but at least you can order online and they're friendly and delivery is fast...
Read moreI ordered a pizza for my son. I was told it would be at least an hour but it came in two hours and it came burnt and inedible my son had one piece and nearly broke a tooth. It was an extra large meat lovers so not cheap . Even the mushrooms on it were burned black and the crust was so over baked and black in spots that the shell was cracked throughout. I did visit the website and wrote to them about the experience and asked if there were any way they would consider compensating me ( I have pics of pizza) .I have not heard back in over a week even though I provided all my information. I felt even if they did not believe me, I had pics and I at least would expect an apology of not compensation. We have ordered from there before and my school that I work at also orders from there. I haven't had trouble before now to be fair but I will never revisit or reccomend a place that doesn't bother to follow up on a customer complaint. And with so many great pizzas in the area no need to return or order from there. An expensive lesson from Nat's. I will ensure my school understands they do not do customer service and order...
Read moreI never give one star reviews but I've also never had a slice of pizza that I hated until Nat's.
I ate in so I can't comment on what a fresh pie would be like but I tried two of the slices they had on hand. I wanted plain cheese but it wasn't available so I had a Hawaiian and a BBQ chicken.
Both slices were old and thrown back in the oven to be reheated. The Hawaiian slice was decent but the dough at the back was not really attached to the dough under the toppings. I've never seen this before but it was difficult to eat as a result.
The BBQ chicken was without a doubt the worst slice I've ever had. I actually hated it.
To make matters worse the guy handling the money was also touching the slices when he'd put them in the oven to reheat. This was the most authentic NY aspect of the restaurant.
I grew up in NY and this should not be...
