Templo Tou Tei — Local services in Santo António

There are a handful of temples that can be visited around Camoes Garden including the Tou Tei Temple at the intersection of Largo do Pagoe do Patane and Rua da Palmiera north of the Garden. This temple is next to the Patane Night Watch House, another heritage attraction that opened to the public just a few years back.

This temple dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is one of a handful around the city dedicated to the God of the Earth, Tou Tei. There are several parts to the temple including archway, pavilion structures and traditional halls with shrines and deity statues. Building structures follow the contours of the earth and make use of large boulders with large red Chinese inscriptions.

沙梨頭土地廟是澳門一家土地廟，位於沙梨頭麻子街52-54號。是澳門各家土地廟中歷史最悠久、規模最宏大的一家。

土地廟依山面海而建，各殿一字排開，分別為梨山聖母殿或先鋒殿、永福古社土地廟、水月宮（觀音巖）以及醫靈廟，分別供奉土地公公、觀音、華陀、先鋒正神、梨山聖母。
