Stumbled upon this little store selling freshly baked egglets and other snacks, and the mochi filled egglets caught my eye!
I tried the 75% chocolate egglet with homemade mochi and it was delicious! Not too sweet and the chocolate flavour was decent, not too strong. The egglet itself is pretty dry and so the addition of mochi made it absolutely perfect. Each egg had a chunk of mochi resulting in chewy texture in every bite, and the mochi carried mild flavour and such soft yet chewy texture. The egglet, when eaten fresh and hot has a very crispy texture, and as it cools (after about 10 minutes) does lose some of the crisp but I still enjoyed the slightly softer texture. It was pretty fun enjoying the crunch and then the chew in each egg.
There are small seats for you to sit on and you do have to wait a while for your egglet.

In my next visit (hopefully soon) will try their specialty waffle and egg puffs as well, they...
Read moreI tried the green tea with mochi egg puff. Tbh I think it's a bit overrated because the green tea flavour is quite weak. Worth a try if you are around but don't necessarily have to make a...
