So famous old restaurant at "openrice". Not placed in tourist spot. Bus and walk. Several tables inside. Around 9pm, could have table without waiting.
We tried order with showing picture at the phone. No english is allowed. It's available 蟹黃水餃撈麵 and 咖哩牛腩麵. But failed to order 墨魚餠. Maybe sold out on that time. Instead, ask for 蟹黃鮑魚粥. It's posted on the wall.
Me and wife all loved 蟹黃水餃撈麵 👍 Soup of 咖哩牛腩麵 was a bit fiery to us. Meet in the bowl was soft and yammy. 蟹黃鮑魚粥 was Pleasant savory taste and helpful for eating two noodles but served in too big bowl.
We will come here again for 蟹黃水餃撈麵 and wanna try 墨魚餠...

The portion is more than enough. But the water crab congee was so tasty that we cant help ordering one more! (Actually the waitress advised us no need as the portion should be enough. She was so honest and kind) Congee and the noodles were the most impressive. U cant find one at this price in hong kong! And it only costs us less than hkd500! We will definitely go...
Read moreQuite famous shop for its fiery curry beef brisket noodles, today I ordered something different - pan fried prawn cakes with crab roe noodles. Costs $91.
Honestly the crab roe noodles were nice that the noodles are like Southern China type, springy but the crab roe is a far cry from what you can get in say Shanghai. The prawn cakes were nicer, pan fried till crispy brown on the outside and with each bite you can actually taste bits of prawn meat.
Overall quite nice but I think next time I’ll stick to the curry beef...
