Royal Home Villa — Local services in Al Baairat Village

We stayed 10 wonderful days in this apartment and would have happily spent many days (or months!) more. Each room is attractive, spacious, comfortable and practical. There are more than enough power outlets (inside and out), the appliances are modern and the kitchen is very functional. The outside spaces are also lovely, the front yard having a seating area and hammock and the back featuring the large, attractive pool. The location is also a treat, peaceful but a short walk (5 to 10 minutes) to shops and the ferry. There are several small farms around and the early morning views of the hot air balloons over the farms and the Nile are more than a little magical. As for the host, Abdol, we can not sing his praises loudly enough. We have never been better taken care of by an Airbnb host (or even a hotel concierge). Abdol is as involved in arranging the details of your visit as you like. If you’d like him to help you plan each day, including transportation, itineraries and even your onward journey, everything can be arranged though him. If you’d prefer to find your own way, he will happily let you do your own thing (while still making sure you have enough soap and toilet paper!) Abdol’s team are also fantastic - Kreem, who functions as driver and guide, is really knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful and Mamoud, who does maintenance around the apartment, is helpful and unobtrusive. We would happily come back and stay in this home, with Abdol as our host (and are already planning how soon we can do so). If you're thinking about staying here, immediately make a booking. Luxor is split into the west and east banks, and the Royal Home Villa is tucked away to create peaceful and relaxation stay. The accommodation is extremely clean and spacious, and rival's international 5 star standards.

Our host are a family run business who actually care about your stay, and was uninterested in squeezing extra money out-of you. They genuinely want you to have a fantastic stay, and are attentative to your needs.

They arranged us a private car at fair prices, and never once tried to make us feel uneasy at all.

The extra details they provide gave us a stay we couldn't forget, and they even prepared a roof tip dinner and birthday cake!

Really great hosts. Lovely family atmosphere & very accommodating and helpful with the organisation of hot air balloon trip, visit to Aswan, the valley of the kings, Sunset dinner on the Nile & lots of other local gems. The place itself was very clean and spacious. Great location close to Luxor Temple yet far enough away not to be in the city environment. Optional breakfast was great and with the option of ordering dinner, free drinks, & Shisha we felt very much at home. You won’t have to leave to house but the area is so beautiful and full of ancient history you probably should..! We even utilised the rooftop gym facilities and private pool.
