Absolutely incredible. The most amazing authentic experience and Egyptian food I've had ever...we went with local friends who confirmed that this cooking was the real deal, home but better. Fresh, hospitality, yes you might have a wait but you can order and go watch the boats at the nile or chill with the owners beautiful family. (This isn't your spot if you're a greedy European cheap tourist looking to Exploit locals, pay the cheapest price for unbelievable quality and even better hospitality - as the 1 star reviewer showed himself to be). This is the spot for authentic genuine food, real connection to a local Egyptian family and a beautiful experience. Thank you... We will...

Read moreWe were well welcomed by the host as we arrived but then we had to wait up to 2 hours to be served. The dishes were very medium, overcooked rice and burnt chicken. This might not have been an issue if the check hadn't been so expensive! The prices weren't displayed and the owner told us that he would inform us about them if we asked (which we didn't) - but we did not expect it to be so high! We ate fish at noon for 200EGP and tonight we paid it 700EGP.
3000EGP for 5 people, 2 hours wait, burned food...Would not recommend, try the restaurants...
