We had been in luxor a few days and wanted to try out a restaurant, and we found this Pearl. Its located just next to the Nile and has lovely seats outside with beautiful lights.

As there is a lot of mosquitos this time of year, they even gave us a place inside to wait, until the food was ready. The food was very delicious and gave us an authentic experience and feeling about egyptian food.

What was even more wonderful was the service. They were extremely nice and calm, and we felt like a Big family within seconds. One of the waiters even talked almost fluent danish, which was funny, as we are danish 😅 We left the restaurant heartwhelmed with full stomachs and Big smiles in our faces.

Ahmed and the people that work at this place are amazing. The food is fresh, tastes good and is not expensive. They are not pushy and do not harass you.

Ahmed helped us alot with everything we wanted. He fixed a friendly taxi driver for a good price, he gave tips on where to go and where not to go so you can avoid the tourist hagglers and we had nice conversations with him in general. He even provided medicine for one of our party that was sick. I would feel comfortable if I would forget my wallet here because Im sute I would get it back with the contents.
