LUXOR GUEST HOUSE — Hotel in Al Baairat Village

My 2nd Stay at Luxor Guest House (after over 2 years). With its superb location with uninterrupted views of the Nile, directly opposite the Winter Palace – the Luxor Guest House may have the best views from the West Bank. The views are matched by the interior’s calm, cozy, ambiance - created by the family who own the property. I especially appreciated the extremely helpful and supportive attitude from arrival through to departure. Nasser, the family member who is currently most directly involved in managing the property of course speaks Arabic – and fluent English and French giving a tri-lingual welcome if needed. The rest of the team are also very helpful, esp Ali who was there on both my visits. Apart from meals taken on the roof-top terrace, ask for excursions, Felucca trips and Balloon flights. Saving time if needed for a Nile crossing – there is also a small ferry-boat owned by the guest house I had a great couple of stays – and suggest you book early as there are a limited...

Such a great find after the stresfull ride! We booked on the spot. beforehand I went to 5+ gursthouses so I had a chamce to compare.

The location is perfect - just infront of the Winter Palace. The Guest house has its own boat that can bring you to Luxor in 10 minutes.

Food was great and the room is very spacious and pretty comfortable (comparing with other places in this area).

The manager Nasser is absolute super star! He was super helpful, professional, polite and engaging! He sorted all our logistical questions and advised on the best tourist routes.

We had a lovely time staying at this Guest House! We stayed in a 2 bedroom flat which was spacious and clean. The rooftop terrace of the Guest House has a beautiful view of the Nil and a delicious restaurant offering fresh home cooked meals. The main selling points though are the people running the Guest House. Such kind and helpful people. The owner is a super friendly and knowledgeable person who speaks great English (as do the other people working there) and great german ( probably also speaks other languages). Would 100%...
