Egyptian Museum Gift Shop — Local services in Cairo

The gift shop certainly has some truly wonderful items but I feel it has missed an opportunity by not having any basic staples, such as: pens, bookmarks, fridge magnets, tote bags that allow the visitor to leave with a little piece of the museum. I would definitely have bought an array of souvenirs if there were items with different sections of the museum on them, especially the entrance & stairway, and of course the words GEM or 'Grand Egyptian Museum' should be written on the souvenirs with the impressive entrance in the background not just the yellow/orange...

The gift shop at the exit of the Egytian museum has a great collection of cheap and more upmarket souvenirs and gifts. The prices are very reasonable, particularly for the more expensive items. Fixed prices, no haggling, stress-free.

There's also a good selection of food and drink in the cafes and resteraunts...
