Royal Cruise Hurghada — Local services in Red Sea

We just got back from a day trip and can fully understand the rating given and also on 'getyourguide', from which we booked the excursion.

We were informed of a 6.40am pick up to which the driver arrived exactly on time. At the next hotel stop, we had to wait for a couple who was running late as they had a heavy night before the trip, so wasn't quite awake and that set back the next couple of pick ups I imagine. The driver remained patient and happy regardless.

When we got to the boat it looked great and was spacious enough for everyone. It took abit of time to set off but that was mainly due to waiting for clearance from the Marina.

We had a lovely cruise to Orange bay for a stop off. The food and drinks are expensive there. A bottle of beer was 350 Egyptian pounds (about £7). Once back on the boat we proceeded to snorkel or dive if you wanted to pay an additional 10 euros (only if you hadn't booked the diving extra option beforehand).

We stopped for lunch which was good, and consisted of a variety of hot and cold food. Unlimited cold soft drinks and water was provided whenever wanted and some snacks like crisps and wafer chocolate bars.

A further opportunity was given for a second snorkel stop. The day finished with a banana boat ride and sofa ride with a speedboat. Followed by heading back for a quick exit off the boat and onto transfers back to the hotel.

We can't fault this company and the tour guide, Andrew is brilliant and a special mention to the photographer 'Amir'. He did a fantastic job all day getting photos of everyone and also freediving to get videos of the divers. Take extra money with you as I'm sure you'll want his photos and it is easier to pay direct. Unfortunately as we didn't know we didn't have enough cash on us to pay but we will be getting the photos he took of us throughout the day.

In summery, well worth the money (roughly £40pp on the app we paid) and the 4.9 rating is fully deserved.

This was easily the best boat trip we have ever done, led by Andrew who took his time to explain everything and make sure that we are comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Everything about our day with royal cruise was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to entertain and accommodate us. The trip to orange bay was gorgeous and we made it in good time before the big crowds, the diving was clearly explained and the instructors Mario and Fox were clearly very knowledgeable and very good at putting you at ease if you are not a confident diver. They are generous with food and drink on board and the lunch was cooked well and tasted amazing. The snorkeling and aquasports stops just built upon how fun the day was already, they take you to the best spots in the red sea, where you see a lot of coral and various aquatic life. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins. We also paid 30 euro for the pictures Selim the photographer took throughout the day, they turned out gorgeous, Selim was also very entertaining and gave us poses and funny pictures aswell.

Over all, Royal cruise Hurgada is the best cruise company you could go...

We had an incredible experience with Royal Cruise Hurghada! From start to finish, everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The day started with a warm welcome at the marina and a refreshing welcome drink. The boat trip was fantastic, and the program was packed with exciting activities, including water sports, snorkeling, and diving. The lunch buffet was delicious and offered a great variety of options. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a fantastic time throughout the journey. The highlight was the stop at Orange Bay Island, where we had an hour to bask in the island's natural beauty. The snorkeling spots were stunning. The surprise massages on board were a lovely touch! I highly recommend Royal Cruise Hurghada to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience at the Red Sea. I can't wait to return for...
