Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Red Sea

OVER HYPED, OVER RATED, OVER PRICED JUST BECAUSE ITS IN A GOOD NICE MARINA LOCATION.

GOOD POSITIVE: nice area, very clean, blue water & lots of sun. Customer service is OK. Lots of shops for nessasitys. Smoking allowed. Customer service is probably the only hi light if the dining experience.

NEGATIVES: Price is a bit on the high side for egypt. The tomahawk steak and T-bone steak were not that good. The meat was so hard & chewey. It was so hard to cut the meat and its like cutting raw meat with butter knife that wouldn't cut the meat. The meat needs to be marinated longer so it becomes softer. Or they need to cook it for longer to soften the meat. OBVIOUSLY DONT KNOW HOW TO SERVE OR COOK STEAK.

The sauce, chips were great. Vegetables were nearly great but needed a little attention.

The plain water boiled vegetables were blund, no taste at all. Vegetables need to be boiled in salted water to give some taste. Or salt & pepper it just a tiny bit before serving. It's just plainly water boiled vegetables and nothing more.

I don't see how 4.6 stars were achieved. Its a expensive marina mostly for foreighners. If foreghners r rating hi then I understand the alcoholic drinks effect. If locals are rating then they should not be because locals don't dive at these...

Absolutely incredible experience – 5 stars well deserved!

We had an amazing evening at Grill & Chill. I ordered the 400g ribeye and can honestly say it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had – and I’m very picky when it comes to my meat. The red wine I had with it was also excellent and paired perfectly.

My wife had the lamb ribs, which were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The French fries on the side were also exceptional – crispy, golden, and delicious. Easily a 10/10.

What truly made the night special was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They served the lady first, pulled out her chair, and took extra care knowing my wife is pregnant. It’s rare to find such thoughtful and professional service.

And a small but fun detail: the restroom had the “chimney toilet” – the only one we saw during our entire trip, including other restaurants at the Marina. A quirky and memorable touch!

Have been staying in Hurghada for 10 days and only found out about this place on the last night, gutted we didn't know about it sooner as the food is AMAZING. We ordered; 2 mojito mocktails, 2 mozzarella garlic breads, 2 rib eye steaks (well done), 1 with mashed potato and the other with fries and rice then chocolate cake and tiramisu for desserts. There is not one fault I could say about any of the food, the steak cooked beautifully, pepper sauce wasn't watery or lacking in flavour and the desserts were really tasty! I have visited alot of steak houses in the UK but grill & chill tops them all in service, taste and price. For everything we ordered it cost £29!! No where back home could you find quality steak for less than 30 quid. If you are staying in Hurghada and are a big fan of steak (or food in general) then do visit here, you won't be disappointed.
