“Catch of the day (grouper i.e. Hamour)” was waited for 45 minutes and at least 3 times “just 1/3/5 minutes” by the waiters to no avail

Then it was eventually served - but not fully cooked! (Fish meat still stuck to the bones) - god bless the 3,000 EGP, very very disappointing

Worse still, all “reasons” then came out like “because we just bought it from the market” “because the fish is fresh (edit: you just fished it from the sea?)” “because you need it fast” (edit: that’s why it’s raw?) “because it’s peak season” (edit: is May a peak season?) “because the chef is busy” (edit: so is your customers) and etc.

Pasta is also part of the 45-minutes wait, so-so, much watery sauce making the pasta soggy

I rejected counteroffers of free dessert and free dish to let people know how they serve their customers online

Drinks are fast and decent as an saving grace, otherwise it will definitely be 0/5

I wonder why this place has a 4.9 rating - maybe good for drinks, food very much less so unless you have time to wait and waste

My experience at Vanille, located in the beautiful Marina of Hurghada, was nothing short of exceptional! The restaurant offers a cozy yet elegant ambiance, with a stunning view and the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable dinner.

I started the evening with crispy fries and their garlic bread with cheese, which was absolutely spectacular – perfectly melted, flavorful, and utterly irresistible. Then came the highlight of the night: the tomahawk steak. Cooked to perfection, the meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right to enhance every bite.

The drinks were equally impressive, masterfully crafted with a perfect balance of flavors. They paired wonderfully with the meal, adding a refreshing touch to the experience. The prices were very reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and drinks.

The service was impeccable. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect throughout the evening.

This dinner was incredible ! The first time in my life I wanted to get the taste of camel meat and we headed to the marina of Hurghada. Being on the famous promenade, we were welcomed by a nice guy, our waiter for the next hour. He offered us a table in his very polite and friendly manner. A lot of guys doing service in the restaurants are friendly, but this was different. He is so proud being a host and tried hard to transfer all wishes into reality. We ordered camel steak and were surprised that suddenly three persons from the restaurant showed up. Our waiter, the chef and the owner. They flambéed the camel steak marinated in caramelized onions at our table and we were impressed. Such a nice smell in the air. Now the time has come to taste camel steak. Delicious! Very tender juicy meat, similar to rump steak, but somehow even more tender. We enjoyed the professional service for the next half hour and were at the end invited to a kind of family pictures with the Vanille team. Incredible. We highly recommend this restaurant for their passion, food and empathy....
