I don't understand what people are raving about. It's a mediocre cafe with decent coffee, but bad service. I wish we had picked another spot as they all have the exact same view. The prices of all the other cafes are pretty much the same. As of 2023 September, a frappe cost me 120 egp. We were visiting dahab and decided to check out this cafe after I read a blog post by a european tourist strongly recommending it. My experience of it was pretty much the opposite. For context, there is a strip of the beach which is lined with cafes and reataurants in dahab. They all have an indoor seating area and an outdoor patio type area that overlooks the beautiful sea. This was one among them. We were hoping to try the classic flat white, but sadly, their machine for hot drinks wasn't working, and another branch of theirs was sending in iced drinks. we decided to order a caramel frappucino and a regular iced coffee. The first thing that threw me off was that we were served the drinks in plastic takeaway cups, whereas the other customers had glass Mason jars. The customers that came after us also got glass jars. I know this sounds a bit petty, but we were curious as to why it was the case. When we inquired about it, they claimed that they were out of glasses. Mind you, there were about 6 customers total excluding us. The waiter also asked us to shift to a smaller table (rather rudely) when another group of tourists walked in. This was understandable as we were 2 people, and they were 4, but the whole vibe was unpleasant, so we decided to leave. We walked out, and the waiter wasn't bothered, but another man was quite apologetic. While his gesture was welcome, our experience was ruined nonetheless.
Overall, I can see how some people consider it cozy, but I am not one of them. It seemed poorly maintained with greasy furniture. The coffee was good but my experience depends a lot on service so this one was a pass for me. I wouldn't...

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service from the staff, who were always happy to adjust the coffee or tea to our liking.
Whether you prefer to sit inside or outside on the deck overlooking the sea, the atmosphere is always relaxing and inviting. The view of the sea is simply breathtaking and adds to the overall experience.
The coffee here is the best we've had in Dahab, and we're self-proclaimed coffee aficionados! The coffee is rich, bold, and perfectly brewed. We also tried their food, and it was just as impressive as their coffee. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
We enjoyed our experience here so much that we came back five times during our stay in Dahab. We even brought our parents here, who were visiting us, and they said it was the best coffee they had during their entire trip.
Overall, we highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone who appreciates excellent coffee, delicious food, and exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is simply lovely. Don't miss out on this hidden...
Read moreFlat White offers one of the most stunning seafront views in Dahab you’re sitting directly above the Red Sea, with breathtaking mountain views across the water. The relaxed, minimalist setup blends perfectly with the scenery, making it easy to lose track of tim, I stayed nearly four hours just enjoying the atmosphere.
I also got some work done; while the Wi-Fi isn’t the fastest, it’s good enough for basic tasks. Breakfast was decent, not the best in Dahab but fair for the price. The flat white and latte were average, but the cheesecake was fantastic and highly recommended!
Another highlight is the amazing staff, incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even redid a dish I wasn’t happy with without hesitation.
If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with an unbeatable view, Flat White is definitely...
