Sokos has not such a clear way finding indications. The departments don't feel like they are organised in a logical way. Therefore I find myself going the long route to find the things I actually need. This might be in their good interest to do so that you buy more but to me this is not a grocery store so I won't feel like buying stuff I didn't come for to the store. Though they always have the things I'm looking for, it is just the inside planning and architecture that make it hard to find certain places. Staff is friendly and super helpful. I have gotten here the best advice without trying to sell me the more expensive options. As a man I especially like the Marks & Spencer store which has a good selection of reasonably priced, stylish mens clothing in variety of styles. Mostly still from kinda sailor look to business casual to business. Well worth a visit.

When I arrived in city center main railway station I had to shop for emergency clothes and supplies as I didn’t know when my luggage would arrive. Someone outside the train station pointed me to this department store. On the first floor I asked an employee where I can find men’s clothing and she directed me to upper floor.
Give that this is Helsinki, I was somewhat prepared for sticker shock ! Let’s just say that compared to US, be prepared to pay 2 or 3x even for simple stuff which I needed for emergency- couple of T shirts, underwear, socks and a sweater. I was able to find everything but it set me back €80 !!
