Must try if you are in town!! There's a big swimming pool (oldest public indoor swimming pool in Finland) and different types of sauna to try!! Different days for women (Wed,Fri,Sun) and men, you can wear a swimsuit while swimming but inside the sauna is mandatory to be naked. Entrance to the swimming pool and the two electric saunas on the ground floor is cheaper (roughly 5.50euros) and includes a locker only so in that case you should bring your own towel and flip flops or you can rent a towel for 7euros. Upper floor costs roughly 16euros and gives you access to Infrared, wood heated and steamed sauna plus your own private cabin with bed and they give you towel, bathrobe, seat cover for the sauna plus access to the downstairs area too. Hairdryers are provided in both floors but you need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. Staff was friendly and literally everyone spoke perfect english. When I went it was all local women, atmosphere was nice and relaxed, really a great experience.. would go back for sure.. if you have to choose go upstairs.. it's...

If you want the most out of your visit, buy a ticket to the 2nd floor where you can also use a wood-heated sauna, infrared sauna and a steam bath. Everyone will also get their own, small rest cabin, a towel and a bathrobe and can use the services of the wonderful Café Yrjö that serves the customers of the 2nd floor. During peak hours there might be a waiting time before you can get a spot on the second floor. Everyone both in 1st and 2nd floor can use the (relatively small) 25 meter pool downstairs, and the 1st floor customers have two saunas available for them too.
One specialty in this bath is that swimwear is optional, so you can choose to bathe either naked or to have your swimsuit on. For this reason the bathdays have been divided between ladies and gents, and it's advisable to check...

Note there are men's days and women's days, so you cannot enter in mixed group, or on the other sex's days, but this allows for swimming naked. One thing which is not by any means the fault of the pool, nor a complaint as such, it's just odd: when did people start wearing swimsuits? Since you still go to showers and sauna naked, I at least cannot be bothered with the stupid little strings and hooks and so on, when I don't have to. If I wanted to swim clothed, there are other, bigger swim halls also, with more facilities, even if they aren't as cute.
No photos this time as it's...
