Nadia Farmer, owner and operator of Nice Food and Wine Tours, was the most effervescent, knowledgeable, pleasant and joyful tour guide one could ask for. We were the fortunate recipients of her innate knowledge of the foods, wines and sights of the most beautiful city in France. In spite of the 90+ degree temperature, Nadia’s tour was eye opening and inspiring. We learned so much about the region and through Nadia’s adept selections, we were able to experience the city’s present and past. She navigated us through the old and modern parts of Nice, always sharing her personal and historical perspectives which made the tour that much richer. Starting off on the magnificent Promenade des Anglais, we ate a delicious orange blossom infused bread from the local boulangerie. Then we made our way to a delectable olive tasting at a shop that’s been operating since 1868. We visited an historical chocolate shop as well where we stepped back in history. We sampled delicious limoncello outside a famous opera house where we learned about the rich past. From there we made our way to the beautiful old market, teaming with tourists and locals alike. We saw the market artists painting their scenic works depicting life in Nice. People were buying the local fruits and vegaetables, along with homemade pastas and meats on display. We sampled Socca, a Street food made of chick peas, served piping hot in a cone. Then we went on to Vieux Ville where we quenched our thirst with some sumptuous red and white wines, along with a crusty French baguette and some unforgettable local cheeses. Then we strolled to an outdoor restaurant where lunch awaited us. We feasted on Nicoise specialties that were to die for. We ended the tour in the Place Rossetti with an insanely refreshing gelato. Yum is an understatement! Thank you, Nadia! We will be sure to be back! The memories will last...

This was by far the highlight of our trip to the French riviera. We happen to do alot of of food tours , it a nice way to become familiar with where we are visiting and frankly to find the best places to eat while we are there. The reason this one was our favorite even over our original favorite, our Parisienne food tour, is Nadia. The minute we arrived at the meeting spot Nadia was so warm and energetic and that she engaged our group from around the globe and all ages immediately. We all felt like friends touring together. So now the food. I don't like to spoil what you have in store for you, but I will tell you that Nadia orchestrates it so you eat from start to finish. Starting with a breakfast vibe to a lunch crescendo. You will never be hungry. We went during the hot spell.this summer so Nadias tip to bring water is a must. She provides drinks along the way but if you have a water bottle,we brought from home our cooler ones, it's a good idea. We had so much fun none of us even looked at our watches for time, and we went an hour over and Nadia just let us enjoy. As Nadia weaves all the flavors, culture and sights into your day with each stop, at local shops, a food market and a restaurant, you will experience a priceless day. We have stayed in touch with Nadia and many from our tour that day. It was the most fun food tour experience we had and can't recommend enough. We were in Nice, France on a cruise with Celebrity. The tour we bought through the ship turned out to be lack luster so we canceled and needed to find an adventure last minute. I google searched for "food and wine tour in Nice" and Nadia's tour appeared. I booked it with less then 24 hour in advance. I emailed her immediately saying we were last minute add ons and asked how to get from the port to the meeting spot. Within minutes she responded with the most amazingly detailed instructions, that were easy to follow and helped us arrive at the meet up. The tour was the best tour I have ever been on. The days prior we went to Rome, Piza, and Florence, but THIS tour with Nadia is the only tour I can give you every detail from memory because of her love of the city (I wont so you can experience it yourself). She makes you feel like a local and gives such passionate explanations of why we were eating the items and how they came to this part of Nice. We had so much different and interesting food and award winning wines. Every place we stopped the location owners came out to greet us as if we were friends that had been away on a vacation and had just arrived. The amount of time and details Nadia put into this tour shines through in the warmth you feel around her. She is a beautiful soul that I hope I get to meet again.
