The worst experience I've had at a nail salon. Before I came in I had gel on my nails that had chipped off a lot. I made an appointment earlier that day, then I came in and I had to wait 45 minutes which is okay it's not a big nail salon. There were also 3 other people waiting behind me in line to get their nails done. When one of the ladies was finished doing someones nails, she took me, and before even asking what was on my nail she started putting acetone on pads and placing them over my nails and putting clamps on (without filing down the gel first). I told her it was gel and she just nodded and kept doing that then got up and started doing the customer behinds me nails. Okay.. so I sat there for 40 MORE minutes then a different lady finished doing someones nails and came to me. She took my clamps off and saw nothing had changed, the gel was still hard on my nails, and proceeded to take this metal tool and started prying off the gel from my nail which hurt so bad, it ripped some of the top of my nail off with the gel. And when i finally pulled away saying "what are you doing, this hurts so bad" she just put the metal tool down and went to the next customer! So i was just sitting there with dried out fingers from the acetone and no one working on my nails after I'd been there for an hour and a half so I had no choice but to leave. They are so rude and unprofessional, as well as very crammed working space. I don't recommend coming here.
And I've gotten my nails done many many times, I know how gel nails are removed, it does not require 30 min acetone soak or...

They counseled me through clipping my brittle nails and tenderly repaired my heavy damaged pointer nail. I am deeply indebted to these charming ladies and will happily bring my nails to them again when I return to Paris! Bonus: La Ritournelle has a wonderful selection of OPI polish that is sure to satisfy all tastes. I opted for a classic bubble bath, but more exciting...
