Maison Labiche — Local services in Paris

I made it a thing to stop by Maison Labiche the last time I was in Paris because I had to get a custom embroidered shirt. Their store in the Marais is bright and sunny and had a good selection of stock. They didn't have the exact item I wanted in women's, but the associate who was helpful was able to find an equivalent item for me in menswear. Custom embroidery took about an hour, and when I returned my items were ready for me and packaged in their beautiful sky blue box! I stumbled on this shop on my last day in Paris and cannot recommend them more. The clothes are fantastic staple pieces that will last a lifetime, and the staff were absolutely lovely! I didn’t get anything on this occasion but they were extremely helpful and offered to ship things if I were to want to order anything online or over the phone. Great designs but disappointing quality (even more so for the price you pay).

Purchased a very nice Hoodie “French Touch,” worn once and washed once and this thing looks horrible. It wrinkled at the seems and lost some of its Navy coloring. The cotton is no longer soft either. We use gentle care and wash everything delicately.

Just the fact that it deteriorated at first wash, means I will never purchase an expense piece of clothing...
