Marché Baudoyer — Local services in Paris

The market is open every Sat morning and Wed afternoon, closed for the whole month of August.

Very nice products and price at the veggie and fruit stands.

However, the seafood is not that great. There were bees and insects surrounding the fish products but it was the only one with seafood so not much choice for me.

On top of that, the owner treated each customer differently. The lady before me wanted a piece of salmon and he cut a nice piece from the belly. When it’s my turn, he just took a leftover piece from the tail, even added another tail after weighing and finding out the first one was too small.

I asked to have a single piece of fish since I am eating alone but he replied he could only offer me tails, while there were still a lot of them with belly at 12:00. Finally I just took one.
