Food was ok, but not exceeding the expectations of its price. The croissant was slightly better than a supermarket croissant, the caesar sandwich was way too dry and subway sandwiches are far better for less cost. The dessert was pretty good having a playful balance between sweetness of the cream and the bitterness of the biscuits and walnuts sandwiching the cream. I personally prefer it less sweet, but in general that dessert was very good!
Service: Disappointing. I saw at least 5 workers on a not busy day and we were being told to hurry with our orders and were not friendly. There is no servicing. You pay and get called when its done. Especially for dine in you pay ~5-10% extra. You food is given on a tablet, but no tissues or cutlery is provided. So I went to get those and the spoons were a bit dirty, with chocolate remains on it from the previous guests. To make a fair comparison, McDonalds provides better service. Given that the price is on the expensive side, an average cafe gets 2 stars, this one gets 1 for upcharging food and dine-in.
Atmosphere: The cafe looks nice cozy from both inside and outside. Contrary to that they were playing american hip hop songs and the cafe is quite loud and busy. The decoration is very nice and overall a very clean looking cafe. Overall nothing outstanding, but definitely better than most cafes in terms of vibes and...
Read moreDelicious croissants and coffee, quick service, and beautiful ambiance. This location was super convenient to where we were staying and the hours amenable to grabbing breakfast before sightseeing for the day (unlike some other boulangeries in Paris that open pretty late, especially on the weekends). One odd thing was they said you're not supposed to order "take away" if you're going to sit at the café (I always order takeaway for coffee because I almost never finish it while sitting at the shop), even if I want to eat a pastry or something there. They were nice...
Read moreThe staff are some of the friendliest people in the city that we met! Also they speak good English for any tourists that aren’t confident in their French, so you feel very comfortable. The pastries were all amazing and the selection is massive. We often ate here multiple times a day and i’m not even a big fan of sweets to begin with, but this place made me love them all 😂 I personally find their Pain au Chocolat the best out of all the shops I got to try in Paris! Fully recommend...
