If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The salesperson is one of the nastiest and rudest people Iâve met. We visited the store in June, this was our first time in Paris and we had just enjoyed visiting other shops and buying nice souvenirs. We spotted her store and decided to stop in quickly. When we entered she never spoke which was fine but I did notice she was staring at us, especially at my son. I didnât pay too much attention to it. After about 5 minutes she said she was going to close the bottom part of the store where my son was looking for souvenirs. We left and went to the other shops, 2 doors down is a FANTASTIC STORE called PAIN DâEPICES. We bought souvenirs there and enjoyed speaking to the owner of the shop. The next day we came back, and my son said he wanted to look one more time in the store even though I did not want to return. Again she was rude after a few minutes and she asked my son what he wanted rudely, I jumped in and said heâs browsing like a shopper. Then I asked her does she not want him there, and I pretty much let her know that I would not spend a dime in her store, and I would gladly let others know what a nasty person she was. Looking at other reviews I see others have had the same experiences. Do not waste your money or euro at this store, instead, go to PAIN DâEPICES a few shops down for better-quality merchandise and a great...
Read moreI am a model maker and research miniature shops in Paris before my visit to get some little items for my job. This means I have to look at items to make sure the scale and the quality is good. The lady working there was very rude and didnât allow me to pick up anything that was hang on the wall and already in little bags. She basically said if you want to pick it up youâll have to buy it.
When I did pick one item up and bought it she insisted I paid cash because it was a small amount. After agreeing ai asked for a receipt and she made up some excuse to not give me a receipt. When I started complaining about this (as I needed a receipt as I was buying something for my job and need the proof to pay my tax) she started complaining in French (probably saying something very rude given the previous comments in English).
I would definitely avoid this place and go to Pain dâepices, the shop next door, which has a vast selection of miniature and the staff...
Read moreDiscovered this shop on YouTube from Les Frenchies, Colleen and Antoine. Very cute shop! Has everything you could want for your miniature toy collection and some displays. I purchased a cute little dumbo figurine. This shop sits along a side alley where lots of other shops are, very cute atmosphere. I believe it is a mom and pop shop this wonderful lady and daughter helped us out. Shop local Not Chains!
Edit: all these 1 star reviews Iâm seeing obviously donât understand how hard it can be to deal with tourists all day long coming to a country expecting everyone to speak their home language, just because someone speaks to you monotoned doesnât mean they arenât nice⊠In Europe it isnât expected to talk to everyone you meet like youâve known...
