First time at the restaurant for us. We were initially thinking about having a pizza (which seem to be their speciality) but finally opted for the pierrade. Very good surprise, quality of the meat is great (chicken, beef and duck) and had good portion of chips, salad and sauces. This restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars and won’t hesitate to go back. Prices are in line with other restaurants in Morzine.

Nouvelle version du Tyrolien, emblématique de Morzine. Le lieu a beaucoup de charme, moderne avec une ambiance assez boisée. Le service est top, accueillant, très à l'écoute et avenant. Nous avons pris des pizzas, pendant retrouver celles de l'époque. Nous avons été vraiment déçus par la pâte à pizza qui ressemble plutôt à une pâte de flammekueche... très plate, très fine, insipide, tout le contraire d'une vraie pâte à pizza bien levée et travailler correctement, avec une bonne texture en bouche et non pas une sensation de carton. La garniture sur le dessus était bonne, bien que l'assaisonnement était vraiment à revoir, nous avons été obligés de mettre du poivre dessus pour donner du goût. Les vins sont très chers, bouteille ou verres, peu importe, c'est cher. Bref, vraiment mitigé au final. Déçus dans l'ensemble pour la prestation globale et le rapport qualité-prix très mauvais.

Travaillant sur la station et ayant fait plusieurs restaurant de Morzine, nous avons vécu une expérience ne méritant pas plus d’une étoile en ce qui concerne la cuisine. 40 personne dans le restaurant et 1h d’attente pour un tartare de saumon, qui était ceci dit très bon. En ce qui concerne les plats, Nous avions pris un burger ( demandé saignant) et la ballottine accompagné de ses linguines, le tout fut insipide, le reblochon granuleux dans le burger et aucun goût, les frites surgelés juste blanches et non cuites. Nous sortons du restaurant avec 92,50 euros de notes pour ne rien avoir mangé. Quand à la responsable qui nous encaisse, suite à nos plaintes aucun mots d’excuses et cette personne se contente de partir et de déléguer l’encaissement à la serveuse. Nous ne réitérerons en aucun cas cette expérience.

The food is excellent, the portions were surprisingly very large and the value very good when we visited in the summer season. We visited twice when on holiday and it would have been more than this had we been aware of it earlier.

The evening set meal for about 22 euros was superb. To start the chicken pate was a triumph; a huge piece with salad, a ramekin of gherkins and a basket of bread. The main of steak was cooked how I wanted it and served with a pile of tasty fries and perhaps further salad...memory fails me! The desert was a little chocolate.

On the return visit I had pizza, it was very cheap for its size and quality.

The beers are reasonably priced too, especially for the area.

It seemed popular with internationals and the natives.

Sadly I cannot give this place 5* as the service was patchy, the 30ish year old lad that was our waiter was very good but the old lady that I think was the proprietor was rude on both occasions and didn't seem at all happy to have our custom; this is echoed by some other reviewers.

I'd definitely go again purely...

Me and my wife bought two different pizzas - both were tasty. Waiters were also nice. However, the lady who welcomed us wasn't very nice. First we had to approach her, she didn't bother to come to us. But that's fine maybe she didn't notice us at first. Later she tried to sit us at the table close to stairs (busy location, with constantly moving people). I asked her if we can sit at other free table. She shrugged her arms to show how annoying I was for her but at least we got this table. (I wouldn't ask for another table, If i wouldn't see that there...
