Konstablerwache — Local services in Frankfurt

Terrible, this station is a homeless shelter with a siding. Totally dirty and run down. Especially the western exit to Zeil. Parts of the ceiling panels hang down here and cables also hang out of the ceiling. Particularly aggressive homeless people cause mischief on the S-Bahn platforms and sometimes even throw bottles around. (Nothing against the homeless and it's bad enough that it's becoming increasingly difficult to find affordable housing in Frankfurt) but they're really anti-social down there. I have never seen the S-Bahn departure display on the intermediate levels in operation. I wonder how you can let such a central station fall into...

This is one of the big stations of metro. A lot of bakeries, shops underground and on walking street . Big shopping centers, pharmacies, cafes . But there also a lot of homeless , drunk people . It’s not very safe street , although police circulate there. I worked in jewelry shop , seen so much on the street happened, sometimes...

Ich kann mit stolz berichten, dass ich wahrscheinlich die erste Person bin, die alle begehbaren Treppen in der Konstablerwache am Stück genutzt hat. Leider habe ich die Zeit nicht gestoppt, gehe aber von einer Dauer der Unternehmung von etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten aus.

Besonders gut haben mir die langen Rolltreppen Richtung Ubahn gefallen, da man dort richtig Geschwindigkeit aufbauen kann.

Ein Stern habe ich abgezogen, da zwei Rolltreppen nicht liefen (dies Stellt eine Gefährdungen der Fahrgäste dar, da sich jemand verletzen könnte) und die eine Steintreppe wegen ihrer Renovierung gesperrt war.

Um meinen Erfolg zu feiern habe ich mir am anliegend McDonald's für den Aktionspreis von 2€ zwei warme Apfeltaschen gekauft. Diese haben sehr gut geschmeckt.

Als nächsten Schritt überlege ich mir, ob ich die offizielle "Konstitreppensteig Meisterschaft" veranstalten soll.

Alles in allem ein sehr guter Bahnhof mit Möglichkeiten zum Reisen, Sporttreiben und Essen.
