Buster Pasta — Restaurant in Frankfurt

We have been going to this place quite frequently. the food is good and the place is okay for late night dining. however, the service was terrible which angered me few times.

the first time, my friend's drink had some sort of small glass like fragments which worried him and when he talked to the server/manager about this, they were very aggressive towards him and wanted to see the proof of broken glass. he brought the drink which he had full still and showed them the drink but they still wanted to see actual glass fragments. unfortunately, my friend did not had them as it was very small and just left and told them to throw the drink away. few mins. passed by and they just gave my friend a new drink. but the worse is to come...

we have order few items and the last order we had not received was a pizza which we waited maybe 2 hours and still none had brought to our table. the manager came to our table to take the order number stand as he though they have served all our food. we told him that we never received the pizza and demanded us to show him the invoice for the order which thankfully we did. we showed him the invoice and the waiter went back to the kitchen to check and found out that it was sent to the wrong table. we waited for additional time which we were tiered of waiting with no explanation from them. We asked them to refund and that was the time they brought the pizza....they did not apologized for the inconvenience and their mistakes.

the another incident was when we went back to dine in again and had a relaxing meal. another friend of mine was not done with his lasagna but the different manager came to collect the empty glasses and the plate of lasagna that my friend was not done with. he just threw the used tissue to clean up the table. we told him that our friend was not done with it and just said " do you want the new one?" I think in this situation the right thing to do is to apologize first to a customer but no...he just if my friend wanted a new one. at this time, he lost is appetite and did not wanted anything to do with the rude manager. I have confronted with him later about his action to handle the situation and how he talked to us but he was not standing his ground and very aggressive towards me also. I was shocked and furious about the whole mess he is handling and just did not wanted to deal with him and just went back to my table. after 10 mins or so, he sent a server to collect the rest of the empty glasses and clean the table to get us off the restaurant which we heard their conversation. just wow.... this time, my friend confronted the manager about the whole situation and how he was treating us. the manager was giving all the excuses he can bring out which was not acceptable but still never felt his apology sincerely. Later, the manager brought us a piece of chocolate cake to say that he is sorry but the damage has been done way too far and still did not felt his sincerity to this point also and we ended up leaving where we never touched the piece of cake which he tried to buy us with.

Good value for money! Their food is really well portioned and is really delicious. It's also located in the city, perfect for a break after shopping. However, they need to improve on cleanliness and hygiene. Their menus were sticky, so were their tables and highchairs for infants- the place was just not cleaned well overall, which was shocking given there's a pandemic going on. You have to give your order and pay at the till, they don’t come to take your order. Which is fine, but just a bit all-over the place, given we had to wait in the queue for 5-7 minutes to give our order and the restaurant is a bit cramped. Their outdoor seating felt slightly cleaner and more refreshing than inside. Their service was also quite poor. No menus were brought to our tables or cutlery (had to get the menu myself, and was given cutlery to carry to my table along with drinks after having given my order). Staff could definitely be friendlier and more attentive. None of their waiters could be bothered to respond in a friendly manner, they'd just shrug at us. Even when we asked a waiter to wipe the table because it was sticky, they gave it a quick wipe with an old rag, not making any difference. Thankfully we had wet wipes with us. Genuine care and customer service...

Good cafe. It's a little strange that there is no service — you have to go up to order at the counter and pick up drinks yourself, but at least the waiters bring the dishes. Also, you need to pay immediately when ordering. I was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions: considering the price/size ratio, the dishes are large and inexpensive! In addition, a huge plus for the fact that the food was really very tasty. The interior is pleasant, but the tables and chairs are old and worn. In winter, there is an outdoor terrace, protected by a tent, where heating devices are installed, so that those who, for example, want to smoke, can sit outside. A big disandvantage for me is that here's no opportunity to pay by card, so prepare a cash...
