read an online review that u can take the public transport ferry line 62 to get a view of the other side of Hamburg and we did so, but the pier was literally too crowded (3+pm) and there was no proper queue organisation system… in the end we only went halfway through the route, and turned back because the ventilation in the ferry was pretty stuffy, but granted it was really quite a hot afternoon that day might’ve been better to take this line at sunset hours, but that wld be 9+pm and it was too late for us

Hafenfähre line 62 is definitely worth a shorter or slightly longer cruise: the route really takes you around the harbors (but for a much cheaper rate than that of an official cruise). The disadvantage of this stop is that it is always quite busy here and the stop is not well marked. Bicycles can also be taken on the Hafenfähren, but for that I definitely recommend getting on at the next (much quieter) stop (Altona...
