Pizza Hut | CMH Road, Bangalore — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I am a regular person who eat in various Pizza Hut restaurants across the globe in several countries. I had been to this Indiranagar restaurant for about 15 years or so and can gradually see this deteriorating over time even before covid. Now it's gone to the lowest possible worst condition. It was like this in my previous visit too but i hoped they would have improved. Nothing changed for years.

I visited on a weekend afternoon and hardly 2 customers were there.

Right from the entrance and in lift and staircase, it was stinking and dirty with litter and not cleaned or maintained. Restaurant also not that smelling normal. No airconditioner or fan which was true in my previous visit too. When asked the staff try to see as if they did something but nothing happens. There are just 3 poor staff working. One in customer dining area taking orders and serving food. One inside making pizza and other cleaning. That's all the staff.

Because of less staff, it takes long time even to take order or cook food and serve it and customer have to wait in dining area without AC and suffocating.

Coming to the food, it was bad and no Pizza Hut standards or taste or formula maintained. Only thing that is good was Pepsi which is served as is.

Before writing this long review i checked other customers review and response from Pizza Hut team.

My request to that replying person or management is, please close this restaurant to help save Pizza Hut brand and quality and not fool customers. Customer come with a hope and expectations from Pizza Hut and you are disappointing them to max possible levels. You also don't have to write a standard copy paste apology response like below but better take action. Either shut this down or maintain Pizza Hut standards. No one is forcing you to run a popular brand restaurant in low cost giving pathetic experience to customers. I am not going to attach a bill copy here because it's evident you have not acted on all previous customer complaints or review and looks like you are not going to as the data shows in all reviews.

I ordered two medium pizza via online mobile app at 7:24pm. The expected delivery time was 7:54pm. In Both the medium pizza I had removed capsicum topping The tracking app said that delivery person is on the way. Later I get the call from pizza hut don't know who , saying that it will take an hour to deliver due to some reason. I checked the app again to track the status ,to my surprise it said that pizza is delivered. Later I called the pizza hut customer service which is pathetic, they took the complaint and said store manager will call me. The store manager didn't call. Later I called to the phone number which I received initially which said my pizza will be delivered in an hour. When I called to that phone number, that number is of the delivery person he said he is coming in 10mins. Finally he came at 8:45pm and delivered the pizza. The pizza box closed seal was not there and both the pizza I ordered had capsicum, I raised the complaint again this time the customer support connected me to the store manager and the store manager is not at the store , she connected me to the person working in the store . That person noted the order and then it took again 25mins for that to delivered at 9:25pm I returned the pizza which I got initially. The taste of the pizza i received was not good , lots of salt yuck. I will never order from pizza hut again. There are other small pizza shops which do much better service. This is one among the oldest outlets of Pizza Hut. 20 years ago the service here was deplorable....... and they have proudly maintained the tradition and sunk a level lower. Went here with a group of families after an event. One of the tables was really sticky.... Requested to clean.... Twice..... Never happened. We finally changed places. They werent interested in taking the order. One waiter managing the whole restaurant..... I get it its tough..... But not when we were the only customers at that time. Food took forever to arrive..... We suspected if the same guy was the chef too..... We even offered to help in kitchen. Also note that many of the newer menu items are unavailable here. Food taste was average. Once our food arrived, few more tables got occupied and after that it was impossible to get the waiter's attention. We fell short on the order and were skeptical of ordering more as it would have taken an hour. The kids in the group kept ringing the bell they keep in all their restaurants..... They thanked us thinking we were having a great time.....kids were doing it out of boredom waiting for the food to arrive. All in all avoid this place...
