Ordered a cake through zomato to surprise a family member in India and unfortunately the member was not reachable during delivery. Zomato cancelled the order which means zomato will pay them (cakewala) and zomato delivered the cake back to them.(reconfirmed). Then when tried to collect the cake back from them and they inform us to contact zomato again amidst all this the event is ruined. What I didn’t like about cakewala is that don’t believe in solving issues. You don’t care for food or it’s wastage or even customer service which is such a shame. Remember you get paid for the item and zomato is just a medium or channel for improving sales. You just lost a customer.

Second update after your reply. Firstly where to share your feedback you didn’t provide any contact details? Secondly if you read above everything is crystal clear. Thirdly begin with training your staff to handle complex situations and sorting out issues then and there rather than a week later. It was disheartening to hear from your staff to say you ordered from zomato and not from us so sort it out with zomato. And zomato after cancelling the delivery charged and full and asked us to reorder again. Just for a failed delivery attempt. Zomato is your channel partner In distribution. You choose them. If there is a problem you can also try to resolve with them. The cake was right in your kitchen after delivery attempt from zomato returned back to you. So eventually do you bin the cake as it was customized...

Located at the heart of Jayanagar 4th block, this place easily catches your attention with its transparent glass outdoor, the very first thing as soon as you enter you can feel the tidiness of the place, the floors are kept clean, and they have a janitor just to make sure nothing is left/spilled on the floor. Now coming to the pastries, we tried Butterscotch, Pineapple Blueberry, texture was spongy, fresh cream but one thing which i felt is the flavors which they use are artificial and not natural, But that is not a show stopper, taste, sweetness are good, although its very rare to get fresh natural flavored pastries. The other offering which we tried was their different Puffs, Spring Roll. Although it looks very attractive in the shelf's, when i ate felt terrible, all the above mentioned items were not crisp, instead they were soggy, this is because they use microwave to reheat these items, instead of OTG. I think management should take this issue with utmost priority and address this issue. Then we tried their mini pizza & Do-nuts again it was half baked, all the good taste which was lingering after having pastries went away after eating the soggy, spongy, half...
