We recently visited Poreato for dinner...first the positives we had enough space for parking and plenty of seats available and friendly service. The ambience and interiors are welcoming and without any frills.

We had ordered crispy pork,pork ribs, pork nirvana , pulled pork platter and pork noodles .Now the neagtives

Crispy pork: Turned out to be bland , I would recommend atleast to get the meat seasoned before deep frying it. The dip was just plain mayo and let the whole dish down. A good dip would honestly elevate the experience.

Pork ribs: This was biggest let down they turned out to be dry and slathered in an overwhelming amount of barbeque sauce . Please cut down on the barbeque sauce and again please provide a decent dip other than plain mayo considering price point.

Pork nirvana: Honestly is just over hyped and just falls flat and again thats how we felt.

Pork noodles: They were good

Pulled pork: This was also not upto scratch, again the meat was dry, seasoning way of point . It felt like the chef overcompensated by slathering the whole thing in barbeque sauce. The toasted buns and fries were ok but the cup of rice with pork bits was terrible.

Drinks: They were decent.

Kallapam: This was genuinely good and a would genuinely go with most the traditional items on the menu.

I honestly dont know if its just us going to the restaurant at the wrong time/day or they have major reworks happening in the kitchen or maybe its just quality of the meat . Based on my experience I dont understand how the place has a 4.5 star rating...safe to say it wasn't the best tasting pork .

Porkeato De Rico has become our go-to spot for pork and chicken dishes over the past few months. Their menu is a treasure trove for pork lovers. My absolute favorites include Pork Nirvana, Pork Nasarani Curry, Pork Biryani, Pork Vindaloo, Pork Pepper Fry, and Crispy Pork. One thing I appreciate is that their dishes come without any skin, which is fantastic.

We decided to dine in recently instead of ordering delivery, and we were not disappointed. The food was exceptional, and the service matched it. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Vijesh, who assisted us, was incredibly polite and knowledgeable. He helped us choose the perfect spice levels for each dish and gave us honest recommendations based on our tolerance.

The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable family space featuring a large table and six chairs. This attention to detail made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Porkeato De Rico truly stands out as one of the best places to enjoy pork. Having tried many other restaurants, I can confidently say this is one of the finest. Their variety of dishes is impressive, each one cooked to perfection and generously portioned. Whether you dine in or order out, you're in for a treat.

We went here after a Frnds suggestion …we had to waste our 1 hr in traffic to get here …ordered their pork ribs after the waiter told that’s there special ..we were so hungry that hunger should usually make even a bad food tastes good ..but pork ribs was pathetic ..it was cold and felt it was marinated and kept in fridge and just cooked it for us ..flavour was full of that marinated masala and it was hiding the taste of pork ..as we are from Thodpuzha we really know how a good pork should tastes like ..nd the whole ribs were some bones without any flesh …dint finish it as we were not sure if this can cause tape worm infestation as we felt it was not cooked properly ..lot of cases of neurocysticerosis are getting reported these days …so ribs went hopeless ..then the porotta came …that too was pathetic ..no crispiness …doesn’t have any feel like the one we get from paragon porotta ..then only there Kallappam was good and the pork shap fry was avg .. Still people comes here seeing these reviews and there are no much options for pork .. ..after getting down from here called my frnd who suggested me this places and he told me he suggested based on reviews and he had never been here ….anyways we became another victim of this paid...
