A unique blend of authenticity and warmth!
The Paniyaram Company is truly one of a kind. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and authenticity of the place made it clear we were in for something special. We ordered the Ghee Podi Paniyaram, and it was simply perfect—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with flavors that felt both comforting and unique. The Pal Soda, a refreshing twist on rose milk, was the perfect complement to the meal.
What really makes this place stand out is the personal touch from the founder, Akash. His journey from Boston to Coimbatore is inspiring, and his passion for creating an authentic experience shines through in every detail. He even went out of his way to let us try their Hazelnut Paniyaram—a flavor combination we didn’t expect but absolutely loved.
It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people behind it leave such an impression. If you’re looking for something beyond the ordinary, The Paniyaram Company is a must-visit. You’ll leave with more than just a great meal—you’ll leave...
Read moreI’m not trying to slander, but I genuinely have to say this: you simply cannot claim your paniyaram is better than “Amma’s”. That’s a huge claim, and honestly, after tasting it, I felt a bit offended. It doesn’t taste anything like the paniyarams we get across Tamil Nadu.
The batter just isn’t right, it lacks the typical flavor and texture that makes paniyarams what they are. And the ones I received were way too oily, which really took away from the experience.
I think the idea is great, and it’s nice to see regional dishes being explored. But if you’re going to use something as culturally rooted as paniyaram (and also claim yours tastes better), please take the time to understand it fully. Go on a food tour across Tamil Nadu and see how it’s actually made and tastes in different places. Explore more flavours and try food in little hole in the wall places. Talk to those...
Read moreAs a Paniyaram lover, this place is heaven. I always knew I’d love the savoury options but I never really thought I’d be this obsessed with the Strawberry and Cream ones. Their Kuzhambu Karandi Egg and Chettinad Chicken Paniyarams are a must try. All 6 of their chutneys (they don’t hold back on the quantity or quality here) are good, but special mention for their kuzhambu chutney (that thing can cause addiction issues) and their thakkali thokku. Since it was the weekend and they had just opened to online orders, we had to wait a while but the service and the taste certainly made it worth waiting for. Another thing that deserves mention are their flavoured coffees. Overall, safe to say they are here to stay, and serve the city’s most delicious...
