Ok where do I start here... I've been here about 4 times with the purpose of going to carefour and checking to see if the shaburi japanese buffet is opened yet, but no exact date on when they will open (seems to be almost done, at the time of this review)
First issue: parking! You've built a massive brand new mall and still managed to screw over the motorcycles by making them all park outside? Thats not the only issue, the parking is already very crammed and creates a huge traffic just to pay and get out! I waited 20 minutes in line just to pay the parking ticket and leave. You need to have a system where its a lot faster for us to leave.
2: ventilation, and loud music. Every time I went, there was some kind of event going on, which is fine, but chill out on the mike volume! Not all of us wants to hear screeching in our ears while trying to shop. the ventilation also sucks! On the second floor there are several food stalls what produce a lot of smoke, and it stinks up the entire hallway with their smell, need to fix that asap!
3: workers not knowing their jobs... This one I give a little leeway because they are all probably new, but you need to train them well before opening a store to avoid these kind of issues... Also the cleaners are doing their jobs, almost too much! While trying to eat, they must have cleaned around our feet 5 times in the span of 20 minutes, and they keep flinging scraps on our feet because they are sweeping too hard towards our direction. Whats the point of cleaning the floor, if you're flinging the trash on customers shoes?
4: inappropriate behavior from one of the staff in carrefore. I have nothing against gays, and I'm all for it if you are, but don't be harrasing the customers with words like "I love you" and touching their customers unwantedly. I was with a friend who is a man, and this staff just assumed that we are both gay. And was hitting on us over and over at times coming too close and even touching. We told him several times that we wanted to be left alone and he just will not get the hint that we are not at all interested in men. it was the most unprofessional behavior I've seen from a well established store ever! He would've been knocked out in any other country, but knowing this is indonesia I would never do such thing here... He is extremely lucky lets just say.
Overall its ok, but I definitely cannot say this mall is ready for actual customers...

This was my first time visiting this mall, and unfortunately it turned into a very negative experience.
It started with parking our motorbikes — the area was extremely crowded, slippery, full of water, and had very limited space. Already stressful, but we managed.
Inside the mall, we went to a large store where I bought a personalized soap that cost 60,000 IDR. Because I’m not familiar with Indonesian currency, it was confusing for me. The cashier asked for 102,000 IDR and gave me back only 40,000 IDR. I only realized later that she had taken extra money. I felt cheated, but since it was a small amount, I decided to let it go.
Then came the worst part.
At the parking exit, I was told the fee was 5,000 IDR. I handed over 50,000 IDR, I pay for me and my son $10.000, but the attendant did not return any change. When I questioned her, she insisted I had only given 5,000 IDR — which was absolutely not true. She refused to return the change and called another staff member, who was extremely rude, intimidating, and dismissive toward me.
I felt pressured, treated badly, and completely taken advantage of.
And I want to be very clear: this is not about the money — it’s about honesty. The amount itself would not make any difference in my life. What hurt was realizing that I was treated dishonestly.
Bali is known for its beautiful culture, spirituality, and strong beliefs in honesty and respect. That’s exactly why this situation made me very sad — knowing that there are dishonest people even in such a beautiful place.
So in one visit, I was overcharged inside a store and scammed at the parking area.
Many places here don’t accept cards, forcing tourists to carry cash — and sadly, some staff take advantage of people who don’t fully understand the currency.
Overall, this was a terrible experience, marked by dishonesty and poor customer service.
If you decide to go, please be extremely careful when paying in cash and always double-check your change — especially if you’re not familiar with...

getting here, woof, this brand new hot spot made a heavy traffic jam, even on the weekend, this can be a concern in the future, the imam bonjol street will be in a heavy trafic jam everyday, while only few times back, the road got bigger, now its fully packed again, thanks to trans studio mall
the car parking is safe, 2 levels of fully roofted parking area, with automatic parking gate, lucky cars, why do the cars need roofted parking while most of the cars have their own roof, why do they think the cars need more protection than the motorcycle
the parking area for motorcycle is absolutely awful, its not ready yet, no roof, full of dust and wet soil, the construction is still running in this area, need to see upon completion for a better sight and a happier review
the building entrance is not yet fully finished, the main entrance, normal, not a grande entrance as expected
its crowded, some tenants are not open yet, most of the tenants are selling food, and so i think, this trans studio mall is more likely a food destination (food court) level 1 - level 2 are food tenants
trans studio play ground is not open yet, i think its going to be great, so when you are done after playing hard, you will not be worry where to feed yourself, the food is everywhere
yes, there is a transmart carrefour, but i hardly believe that people would really come for their groceries (monthly needs) here, me my self, i am not comfort shopping in here, i prefer the other transmart carrefour for my groceries
there is also transmart living, i think its only worth for a sight seeing
we are hardly concentrate on shopping our groceries, towels or a couch in here
this place, at first, its a trans studio playground and full of restaurants
transmart carrefour and trans living are just additional
