Djournal Coffee - Pacific Place — Restaurant in Jakarta

Thanks to Fooma app that tempting with vouchers & missions. Situated at 1st floor, like other Ismaya outlets, this Djournal join the tenant in one place with Kitchenette. not too big - not too small but always crowded. I bought their delicious Thai Tea (40k) tasted so smooth inside their thoughtful cup hahaha. Idk, but if you bought bigger size ice drink, you gonna get your order inside plastic cup with tight lid. it allows to bring the drink without worry to spill it. like this idea (and the cup of course)! Moved 3 times because I wanted to find seat with plug and a little privacy to work on something with my laptop. After sat on big sofa, moved to bar, then stayed on long wall sofa with tiny table. Still thinking about all the left systems in this world. as left handed figure, they wanted me to figure out how I survive with this unusual. 14 Dec 2019: It is a self-serviced cafe. Nice upbeat music and inviting ambiance with warm lighting. But it would not be a coffee place to go for as they serve plastic fork and spoon for dessert. And it’s cold coffee too is served in a plastic cup. Not environmental friendly, more so not really cool at a premium mall. What’s worth mention is that it’s hot Biscoff is quite nice but it’s little too sweet. Less sugar would be just great. Red velvet cake was alright.

It’s personnel are not entirely friendly and courteous. Asked for a glass of water, there’s no acknowledgement after saying a thank you to him.

Our order was a hot biscoff, a coffee mint 16oz,and a red velvet cake. Total bill was IDR133,000.

Worst service ever in the so-called high-end shopping center. This is my experience sitting at the smoking area table.

I asked for an ashtray, and even I inquired about its location to pick it by myself. She said she would bring it to the table. After 30 minutes, I approached her myself to ask if I could get the ashtray. She just replied, "Take it next to the trash. LANJUT," while making a dismissive gesture. Can anyone tell me what "LANJUT" means??

I remained calm there. Upon reaching next to the trash, there was only a small paper cup. I asked again, "Is this the ashtray?" She simply answered, "No, it's not," until she finally saw for herself that there was no ashtray.
