We hosted a campus evening event here and reserved one side of the restaurant for our activity. The team at Kila Kila was incredibly helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Perched on the 7th floor, the restaurant offers a stunning view of Jakarta’s night skyline. From above, you can soak in the vibrant energy of the Central Business District while enjoying a calm, relaxing atmosphere—perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The food was a highlight. We sampled a variety of Nusantara dishes, and the ayam goreng rempah stood out. It was beautifully marinated, well-seasoned, and juicy—a true comfort dish that reflects the richness of Indonesian flavors.

As far as taste and service speed are concerned, Kila Kila lives up to it's 4+ rating. Every dish is we ordered is rich in flavor without being too overwhelming, especially Bunga Pepaya (papaya flowers) and Kepiting Soka (mini crabs). Their choice dishes are not what you'd get in average Indonesian restaurant.

Some disappointment lay at the portions of the food though, disproportionately very small, especially when compared to the price tag (needed to order 6 dishes for 4 persons). I'm not crazy about the seating comfort and convenience either. During a hot day (lunch hour) the air-conditioned room is barely cool. Not nice for a leisurely meal with friends or biz partners. This ambience probably will be much better for dinner or late...

I had an amazing dining experience at Kila Kila By Akasya! The food was outstanding - each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, showcasing the best of Indonesian cuisine.
