Sally's Rolled Ice Cream — Local services in South Dublin

Poor service and poorly run business. I ordered a DIY box from the website. The website stated guaranteed delivery before Valentines day if ordered before Feb 11th. My order was placed on Feb 10th and a week later no sign of my order. I had tried to make contact via phone, Instagram, Facebook and I got no reply. Finally received a reply via email , which explained the delay was due to staff absences with covid & €20 store credit. This was understandable and I accepted this at the time. I was told my order would arrive on the Thursday. Again the order did not arrive by Thursday, Friday or Saturday. When I emailed again I was told to look up the status with the courier myself that it was not to do with them as it has left the store. I tried to explain that I did not receive any tracking information so there was no way for me to do this. I did not receive any reply. The next day my order arrived and it was missing lots of items that the website said it would include !!! At this point I was fed up and drove up to the shop in Tallaght from Kildare. The staff member working there was friendly and explained that they had ran out of stock of some of the items. He gave me the missing bits out of the display DIY kit instead. Whoever is in charge of running this business should not be sending out and charging people full price for half DIY boxes if items are out of stock.

Poor experience . Avoid at all...

UPDATE Further to my review below from the 18th of December this company has still failed to respond to any of my communication attempts or provide me with my order. They have now blocked me from their Facebook page rather than make contact or provide me with the product they have taken payment for.

Dreadful customer service. Avoid placing an order for home delivery.

I placed an order on the 11th December. Delivery is advertised as within 3 /5 business days. I received an email confirming order and saying I would receive a further mail when my order shipped. It is now the 18th of December and I have had no mail to confirm my order has shipped.

I have been trying to contact to see status of my order for a number of days now. I have sent two messages to their web chat, two emails, posted on their Facebook page and called over 20 times. I have had zero response to all lines of communication I have tried.

This was intended as a Christmas gift...

I have attended the most spectacular wedding in Dublin 4 last weekend. Sun, blue sky and the refreshing winds of autumn kept everyone in a cheerful mood.

The day included included generous guests, exhilarating company and delicate, sumptuous and eye seducing ice-glazed rolls of mouth watering ice cream.

Queues were formed, laughter roared, and mutual conversation was dominated by the delicious new spectacle.

The chat and gossip surrounding the brides choice of dress was drowned out by the rapid, fostered glee enjoyed by all the guests that had been induced by these extraordinary flavors.

Strong, intense flavors that stimulated every taste bud in my mouth. Lingering, savored tastes that reminded me of the first time I tasted price winning ice-cream in Old Country, Italy.
