Arrive in Amalfi and all you will see are lemons..lemons on trees, lemons on clothing, lemons on handbags! So one has to wonder what is so special about lemons?! Well at Antichi Sapori d’Amalfi you will begin to understand! This wonderful husband and wife team start with an explanation of the area and how it is the Amalfi lemons are so delicious..hint, the beautiful climate and terrace farming have a bit to do with it! Next you get a better understanding of how traditional Amalfi Limoncello is made and what to look for when buying Limoncello from a store. Then it is time to get to work peeling the lemons and placing them in the alcohol that will begin fermenting and later be bottled for sale. We also took time sampling not only Limoncello but some of the other fabulous Cellos this team creates along with homemade Olive Oil Lemon cake. While you do not walk away with limoncello created by yourself, you have the opportunity to shop the store at a discounted rate when finished with the experience and they will ship it home to you! It was a fun experience and something that we will always remember!! Grazie!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the limoncello factory in Amalfi, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. What truly stood out to me was the charming family business concept, deeply rooted in tradition, which added a personal and authentic touch to the entire tour. The quality of the tour was outstanding, largely thanks to Clara, who was simply exceptional. She guided us through the fascinating process of how true limoncello is made, sharing insightful details with great enthusiasm and clarity. Clara's generosity during the tasting session was remarkable, allowing us to savor the rich, authentic flavors that define their limoncello. I highly recommend visiting this factory. It's not just a tour; it's an immersive experience into the heart of Amalfi's limoncello tradition, led by passionate individuals who truly care about their craft. A must-do for anyone visiting the region!

I visited their store on my Amalfi trip back in 2014 and met the grandfather, pictured. He was so sweet & took care to show me around the store & then everything we were having shipped back. Since then, I have ordered from the states a number of times with no problems, dealing both with the son & grandson…all 3 generations! Cosi speciale per me 💜. My friends have ordered, too. They hand paint all of their beautiful bottles, and with enough notice you can even request a small custom message as I did for an anniversary present. Visit if you can, order online if you can’t. I’ve sampled a LOT of limoncello and this is by far my favorite—so fresh tasting, not too sweet, just the right kick to it. And don’t miss out on the chocolate balls filled with their limoncello, TO DIE FOR!!! I’ve ordered so many things from them and I’ve loved everything 😃😃😃, not to mention the service. A real gem in Amalfi!

Our visit to the Amalfi Limoncello Experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just another commercial tour, but rather an invitation into the heart and soul of a family-run business that has been perfecting their craft for generations.

The quality of their limoncello was evident in every sip. You can taste the difference in a product made with passion and an unwavering commitment to excellence, especially the way Vittorio speaks about the precision and seeing the latest batches shelved in the production kitchen. Each batch is produced with meticulous attention to detail, and it’s clear that Vittorio and his family are true artisans in every sense of the word.

What truly made this experience memorable was the warmth and authenticity of Vittorio and his family. Vittorio personally guided us through the production process, sharing not only the technical aspects of maceration but also his family’s history and philosophy behind each step. It was fascinating to learn about the traditional methods they still employ—hand-peeling the lemons to preserve the natural oils, controlling the infusion process to balance sweetness and intensity, and even the family secrets that make their limoncello uniquely theirs. Vittorio’s willingness to engage in such a detailed conversation added a personal touch that you just don’t get on typical tours.

After seeing the facility, we were treated to an indulgent tasting session. From freshly baked cake that perfectly complemented the limoncello’s citrus notes, each bite was a celebration of local flavors and traditions. But what made this experience truly exceptional was the genuine sense of hospitality. We weren’t just visitors; we felt like honored guests. Vittorio’s passion for his craft, his pride in his family’s legacy, and his enthusiasm for sharing it all were palpable. It’s rare to find a place where quality, family, and experience blend so seamlessly to create something truly special.

For anyone seeking an authentic taste of the Amalfi Coast, the Amalfi Limoncello Experience is an absolute must. It’s more than just a tasting; it’s an immersion into the rich heritage of a family that lives and breathes the spirit of Amalfi. We left not only with bottles of their exceptional limoncello but with memories we will cherish for years to come. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the true...

I walked in this shop while on a Mediterranean cruise and fell in love with the lively ceramic souvenirs, fragrant soaps and cosmetic gift items. I was looking to purchase gifts for friends and thought this was the perfect place for that. An amazing shop in Amalfi you should not miss if visiting. Let me tell you, I'm not a candy lover but the lemon candy is Super delicious and I regretted I didn't buy enough. Later I was so happy to be able to purchase it online. The hand cream and body cream both have an uplifting, wonderful lasting aroma. The fragrant soaps are finely made and the perfect gift to yourself or a friend. Even though I bought all these items for friends, I ended up leaving them all for myself. I've received so many compliments about the body cream aroma. I love everything I purchased and later was happy to discover that Antichi Sapori d'Amalfi had a web site and I can shop online. Especially I was impressed with the customer service. I had a question about the perfumes, and the owner was extremely kind and helpful to provide me with the information I needed. I'd say that any perfume you purchase would not disappoint as they're all amazing. I order online from this shop as I live in the United States, and the items are always very well wrapped with care, arrive quickly, and my experience with this merchant is nothing less than excellent. I also receive frequent discounts via email for which I'm very grateful. If you're overwhelmed looking at all the beautiful things you can purchase online from this shop, I highly recommend starting with the body and hand cream or any of the fragrances. And don't forget the...
