This wonderful husband and wife team start with an explanation of the area and how it is the Amalfi lemons are so delicious..hint, the beautiful climate and terrace farming have a bit to do with it! Next you get a better understanding of how traditional Amalfi Limoncello is made and what to look for when buying Limoncello from a store. Then it is time to get to work peeling the lemons and placing them in the alcohol that will begin fermenting and later be bottled for sale. We also took time sampling not only Limoncello but some of the other fabulous Cellos this team creates along with homemade Olive Oil Lemon cake. While you do not walk away with limoncello created by yourself, you have the opportunity to shop the store at a discounted rate when finished with the experience and they will ship it home to you!
