Was there shopping when the owner approached and asked me to dinner, then wine, then a vespa ride the following day, all of which I kindly declined. He gave me a business card and said if I changed my mind to contact him. I did not, and later that night somehow (he said "I just casually found you" but there had to be a good amount of stalking involved given he only really had my first name) found my Instagram and messaged me. He then told me he liked me and wanted to meet but clearly I didnt since I didnt respond, after some back and forth he screenshots a photo on my Instagram and asks if I'm married to which I said yes. He then proceeded to tell me I dont seem happy since I'm on vacation without my husband (he didnt actually know that) and then said he is "very popular here" and only wants to spend his valuable time talking to interesting people which is not me. Then after I didnt respond followed up with "good luck in my "happy" marriage 🤣 . I fully intented to buy something there cause the store seems nice but the owner went from harmless flirtation/ flattering invite to a stalker complimenting me to needing to insult my marriage and level of interestingness. WHAT. I was there with a large group of friends and none of us ended up going back. So yea the store is nice, and a refreshing alternative to the many junk shops in Amalfi, but only shop there if you're interested in getting stalked or insulted by...

I originally found JP's shop when I was researching our Amalfi Coast holiday and bought two t shirts online which arrived very quickly. When we finally managed to get to Positano, I couldn't wait for our day trip to Amalfi and a visit to JP's. Walking up to the shop, JP's dad was coming towards us and said he liked my t-shirt. He led us back to the shop and we were served by JP's mum and dad. Fantastic shop with lots of varied stock. Bought various tees and a hat.
