A big BRAVO 👍🏻to Mario, Youness and all other team members of Da Maria!!

This is hands down the best restaurant in all the Amalfi Coast 🇮🇹🙌🏻⛰

Food quality is unbelievable for the price list ! Impossible to find the same quality and food taste in any other restaurant in the area or other close cities in Amalfi (except if you pay x3 x4 of the price).

We came back 3 times during our stay and were taken care of as if we were at home and became family members 🫶🏻

Service was super fast with no mistake, very professional and funny ! We even got some free extras sometimes at the end !

Please one big advice is, if you feel you are waiting a long time in the queue just be patient and don’t go away ! It really deserves the wait in the line , the line is often big but there is a valid reason for that ! Restaurant is unmatched , and don’t worry Mario will tell you approximatively how many minutes you will still have to wait in the line and update you often which is very nice from him ! He also keeps a very fair eye on the line and queue so that there is no order mistake at all and everyone is happy at the end !

Big love and respect for you all 🇮🇹🤝🏻

Cheers, 🇲🇦AMAL and...

We went to da Maria restaurant in Amalfi town because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. My wife had lemon ravioli two nights in a row. I had the fried fish (local speciality) with amazing fried vegetables. The second night I had chicken limone. Excellent. The 3rd night my wife had a pizza Napoli would not be able to match. The fried fish comes with small fish, calamari, 5 prawns and a small piece of fish. It's a large meal. The fish was like marrow. I learned it was codfish (baccalau). And had a full plate of just baccalau the 3rd night, again the 4 th night. Elmarie had ravioli with a meat sause. One night we shared a pudding of chocolate cake with master chef surprise. What an experience brought to us by Gregorio the waiter. This man runs a show. Always friendly. He'll surprise you with gifts of Limon cello and great advice. The owner chef makes food because he loves it. He loves people who appreciates his food. Go there. But reserve a table. You'll not be disappointed. I can make one recommendation: change the garnish with the codfish and add the deep fried vegetables rather than the cabbage. If we stayed longer we would be back every day....

Da Maria absolutely lives up to its reputation. The food was so outstanding on our first visit that we immediately made reservations to return the following night.

We found that sharing one pasta dish and one pizza provided the perfect amount of food for two hungry diners. The scialatielli with seafood was exceptional, and the seafood risotto equally impressive. Among the pizzas, the eggplant Parmesan version stood out as my favorite, though the shrimp and zucchini pizza deserves serious consideration as well.

While the food was flawless, the service didn’t quite match the quality of the food. The restaurant gets extremely busy, leading to longer wait times than ideal. However, Mario deserves recognition for his efforts to coordinate between customers, wait staff, and kitchen, keeping operations flowing as smoothly as possible under the circumstances.

Given how popular Da Maria is, particularly on weekends, arrive early or stop by in advance to secure a reservation. Despite the service challenges, the exceptional food makes this a dining experience you won’t...

Phenomenal food and service. This place is popular, expect a short wait. The staff is hustling and doing it with a smile. Food is off the charts good! We got a prosciutto pizza, mixed salad, linguine with shrimp scampi (shrimp are whole and unshelled), and the house specialty fried mixed fish (includes shrim and some vegg as well as fish). Everything was delicious and fresh as can be. My husband got a large Peroni, and I got a lemon spritz. It was one of the best I've had not to sweet and very refreshing. Pricing was reasonable for Amalfi in my opinion. Sprit was only 8€ vs Como at 12-14€ The service industry is a difficult line of work, let alone in an INCREDIBLY busy tourist area. Plus this is one of the 1st places to pop up with great reviews. This place is probably busy all the time! These guy have to navigate all the many foreign languages and cultural differences when it comes to food and etiquette, and they do it with patience and class. As a fellow service industry worker, I wholeheartedly respect and commend this crew. Thank you!
