Our trip to the Amalfi Coast was a memory that will forever be very close to my heart. From the moment we booked to the moment we left the hotel, Vincenzo, Marco, Guilo, and Lydia made us feel so welcome. They truly went above and beyond. Vincenzo was so kind and patient. I was planning the trip from the states to Italy and had a lot of questions on transportation, restaurant bookings, and he was so helpful to not only help plan our trip to the Amalfi Coast but also gave such great suggestions that allowed us to have a seamless vacation. Upon our arrival, they were all so helpful, assisting us with our luggage and getting us set up in our rooms. The rooms have such a beautiful Italian charm. As my mom would say, each room passed the white glove test! Everything was so clean and fresh. Cleanliness is huge for us and everything in this hotel was spotless! I traveled with my husband and my mom. We had two separate rooms. Our room overlooked the streets and shops. We absolutely loved our two-story room, very spacious and made us feel right at home. My mom’s room was also super cute and had a beautiful view on the rooftop with a slight ocean view as well. Each morning we were treated to an authentic Italian breakfast. Homemade with love by Lydia. The coffees were amazing too! We did a day trip to Capri. Our boat picked us up right at the dock, which was just a five minute walk from the hotel. Again truly such a perfect location. Location is so important when picking a hotel for a vacation. This hotel could not be in a better location. You are seconds away from so many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. It's less than a five-minute walk to the ferry and the beach. It was roughly a 45 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel. The driver Vincenzo sent us was so sweet and gave us a little tour on the drive there. He even stopped and treated us the limoncello stand. Which was delicious! Vincenzo helped arrange all our pick-ups and drop-offs (also the best priced and I got multiple quotes). If I’m being honest, I’m not a light packer. We went from the Amalfi Coast to Positano and had scheduled a pick-up and drop-off for that next trip. When Vincenzo saw how much luggage we had, he suggested we change our plans to take the ferry since the hotel we were staying at next was right on the water, allowing for an much easier travel for us. Let me tell you, once we got there, he was so right and saved us from walking down miles with a handfuls of luggage. After we left, my mom noticed that she left something at the hotel. Vincenzo and Marco took the ferry to Positano and personally drop off the missing items to my mom. They truly treat you like family, and for our first experience in the Amalfi Coast, was so wonderful. I would not stay anywhere else but this hotel! Thank you for a terrific stay! Xoxo, Nicole, Justin & Kathy

Love this place and this family who owns and operates it. You ll meet Vincenzo and Bridget, their sons Julio and Marco, and grandmother Lydia who runs the roof top terrace breakfast. They ll treat you like you are their family! Vincenzo knows everything about everything in the region, what bus to talk, where the trailhead is, what boat is best, what to do and not do. He’s a built in concierge like no other. Julio will recommend where to eat and call to get you reservations. It is a first class treatment. The rooftop breakfast terrace is amazing. You look at the mountains and cathedral. Rooms are large and clean, everything works well and is quality, not a typical three star place. The location cannot be beat. You can easily walk your luggage here from port yourself and it’s a six minute walk from stepping off the boat and half of that is the pier itself. Make sure to check out the family’s restaurant nearby. It is the best in all Amalfi. Thanks for a great stay!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such hospitality and from start to finish Vinny and staff were just incredible. Vinny helped with setting up the porters to carry our luggage to our room which was already included when purchasing. He help make arrangements and phone calls to our following hotel in Sorrento. They help accommodate everything, including our dinners and recommendations. They even accommodate me when it came to my gluten allergy. They made sure that everything in my breakfast was gluten-free and helped with restaurants selection. So I may eat and enjoy my stay. They are worth every penny and would highly recommend to family and friends the room was always made up, A/c was perfect, rooms were spacious, bed was cozy and showers were clean. They truly made our vacation effortless and spectacular. Rest hotel in Amalfil

An Unforgettable Stay at Residenza Luce – Amalfi’s Crown Jewel!|Our stay at Residenza Luce was pure perfection, cementing its place as the absolute best hotel in Amalfi. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking views, every moment was a delight, but the Italian-style breakfast experience truly stole our hearts. The heart and soul of Residenza Luce is its incredible host, Vincenzo, whose genuine warmth and dedication made us feel like family. His charming and handsome sons, Giulio and Marco, were equally wonderful, always greeting us with smiles and offering spot-on recommendations for exploring Amalfi. Their seamless blend of professionalism and personal care elevated our stay, whether they were sharing local insights or ensuring every detail was perfect. This family’s passion for hospitality is what makes Residenza Luce so special. The hotel itself is a dream. The rooms are elegant, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed, combining luxury with the vibrant charm of the Amalfi Coast. Waking up to stunning sea views from our window was a daily gift. The property’s terrace, where we enjoyed the most unforgettable breakfasts, offered panoramic views of the sparkling coastline that felt like a scene from a postcard.Speaking of breakfast, the Italian-style spread at Residenza Luce was a highlight we’ll rave about for years. Served on the sun-drenched terrace, it was a feast for both the senses and the soul. Freshly baked cornetti, flaky and golden, paired perfectly with creamy cappuccinos prepared with artistry. The spread included local delights like velvety mozzarella, sweet Amalfi lemons in delicate pastries, and homemade jams bursting with flavor. Every bite was a celebration of Italy’s culinary heritage, made even better by the attentive staff who ensured our coffee was always topped up and our plates never empty. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a joyful ritual that set the tone for each day in paradise. What made our stay such a pleasant surprise was how effortlessly everything came together. The exceptional service, the idyllic location, and the family-run warmth made Residenza Luce feel like a home away from home. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience that captures the magic of the Amalfi Coast. If you’re visiting Amalfi, Residenza Luce is a must-stay. We’re already dreaming of our next visit and can’t thank Vincenzo, Giulio, and Marco enough for making our trip unforgettable, complete with the best Italian breakfast we’ve ever had. This is Amalfi hospitality...

«Search no more! This is the best place you can stay at. » I am usually more concise, but this stay deserves a detailed review (in english, to help the most people decide): - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

STAFF: 10/10 + Vincenzo and others made us feel like home. The service is professional but at the same time very friendly. - - - - - - - - - - - SERVICE: 10/10 + They have all the services you'd need: porter for your luggage, a valet for your car (who is a funny guy), umbrellas available for you in the lobby, etc. + The BREAKFAST was the BEST part of it all! You can choose from wide selection of local hams, cheeses, breads, salads, juices, fruits and veggies, 4 or 5 different marmalades, brioches, cereals, cheesecakes, scrambled/boiled eggs, ham-rolls; you name it, they have it! Cappuccino was delicious as well! Plus you are eating on a marvellous rooftop terrace with amazing views! - To be objective: The breakfast was the same every day, but always fresh. Besides, with that much to choose from it is no problem at all. I found a hair in my ham-roll, but that happens.. No biggie here. Really, the breakfast couldn't be better! - - - - - - - - - - - AMENITIES: 10/10 + Beautifully decorated building in mediterranean style with a romantic touch to it - classy! + Flipflops, bath robe and an ice-bucket with cold Prosecco is awaiting you in your suite -lovely! + The Junior Suite is spacious, elegant, has a great balcony overlooking the street rumble and a huge shower in the bathroom. + The bed is very comfortable, if you like harder mattresses. + Super clean everywhere. + Wifi ok also for streaming. - - - - - - - - - - - LOCATION: 10/10 + It doesn't get any better than this. Location is an important aspect (especially when looking for a place at Amalfi coast) and this was just PERFECT. You are in the town center, with all the restaurants, shops, places of interest, etc. right under your balcony.

NEGATIVES: A tad over the reasonable price point, but hey - it's Amalfi! Parking 20 euro a day seems too much to me. Classic Amalfi coast problems (nothing Residenza Luce can be blamed for): No solid beaches within reach, hard to get around (narrow roads and maniac drivers will drive you crazy; motorbike/scooter/boat is recommended), steep walks everywhere, but the scenery...
