Bergamo Botanical Garden "Lorenzo Rota" — Local services in Bergamo

I really love botanical gardens, but unfortunately this one was not the best. The main area was very messy and overgrown so you couldn't tell which sign refers to which plant. It was nicer in the area with plants in pots but it had a vibe of a plant store rather than a botanical garden. The place with succulents was nice but very small, and you mostly couldn't read the signs either because they were too far from the protective glass.

But the entry is free (didn't see any employees even, very calm), just wear proper shoes! It is in an elevated area and it might...

After visiting La Marianna we went to see the botanical garden. It is located on the hill with many stairs to get up there. So not a place for people having difficulties walking! The garden is nice with many places to sit and rest, and enjoy the view of the city. There is also a public toilet available (clean). Many different plants but not that...
