I came here for lunch and was told to wait 10 minutes to be seated, even though three tables were clearly available. After finally being seated, I ordered a simple pizza and tap water. I ended up waiting 40 minutes for the pizza, while a group of four who arrived after me were served, finished eating, and left before I got my food. The service was incredibly slow. It was also extremely hot day, and when I asked to move to a shaded table (four were free), the waiter refused. My table was so hot I could barely hold the fork. Bearing in mind that the restaurant is located in the old town and serves tourists , the price is ok. My pizza cost €12. But, they charged €3.50 for tap water and a mandatory €2.50 just for sitting outside. On the positive note, The pizza itself was okay — interesting flavors with sweet sausage and some leafy greens (maybe sorrel). Won’t be coming back.

Visited Bergamo and sat on the piazza for dinner at this restaurant. Disappointing experience, lady owner was not welcoming, waitress didn’t know what’s ordered. The worst bit was the linguine con i gamberi which was super salty like sea water on a plate. Pizzas were okay. Tiramisu was average. Overall prices are okay given the location but not for the quality of food. Choose different place if you can afford to. Beautiful spot of Bergamo but not so of the restaurant. Edit: it’s a shame too because we ate this salty linguine at your place in September 2022. All the comments from owner have been so defensive, look at other people’s reviews’ responses.

Fantastic experience and great pizza! The restaurant is located in a lovely piazza with lots of outdoor seating, and the fabulous smell of porcini mushrooms invites you in. There were no specific vegan options on the menu, but you can easily adjust and ask for your pizza to be served without cheese/meat - trust me, it's worth it. We've had the Margherita (for my non-vegan partner) and a veganised Capricciosa and Verdure to share. The pizzas were so good we finished them very quickly, and the porcini mushrooms on the pizzas were so delicious! The staff were very nice and the owner helped me learn a little Italian too! Amazing!

Gave me food poisoning with their spaghetti and clams. Would rate 0 stars if possible. Stay away unless you want to pay extortionate prices to vomit profusely. Edit: the resteraunt has since replied insisting the clams are fresh. It doesn't actually matter whether or not the ingredients are fresh, if your kitchen staff don't properly wash their hands after handling ingredients which aren't fresh or have recently had food poisoning themselves, they can easily pass it on, as well as the fact I noticed several clams which hadn't been cooked properly due to them not having opened. Allow me to upload a photo for context. If you'd like more evidence, message...

The staff is friendly and the mixed green salad was fresh and tasty, but i went here for the gluten free pizza, and that was a real disappointment. A gluten free crust should taste even better than regular, since the mix of flours they should be using will give it more depth of flavor and texture than wheat alone provides. This seemed to be mushy rice, and came out cold (i had to send it back to be heated up). The sauce lacked any personality, as did the cheese, so I'd venture to guess that's the same on the regular as well. Needed to give it some life with a side of parmesan and chili oil. No complaints about the service, but kitchen needs...
